Prodhime Karbonike SH.A. (Carbon Plant Imp. & Exp. Co) is a private company since

year 1996.

The capital of company is 170 968 407 lek (1,7 million dollars)

Its total surface is 76 580 m2.

The covered surface is about 20 000 m2

Square and the way 42 900 m2

In this plant are installed 900 ton machinery and equipments.

Necessary upon and under territorial engineering networks.

The maximal electrical charge is 10250 KVA.

The plant is bonds with the national railway as well the national automobilist way.

Its base activity is the producing of the Soderberg electrode paste.

BASE ACTIVITY

Its base activity is produce of electrode paste Soderberg.

I. ELECTRODE PASTE SODERBERG PRODUCE

We are producers of electrode paste without interruption since year 1984, for needs of

domestic industry (Ferrochrome and carbide industry) since year 1991 for export too.

This production continue and today, mainly for export.

In technological processes of production of electrode paste, works a qualified staff,

specialized, with long experience since in the beginning of the production year 1984 and

in continuity.

Electrode paste produced in briquette form. This is the most form required in market.

The produce capacity of our line is till 10 000 Mt per year electrode paste.

In our line produce mass electrode too, for the traverse during binding of metallurgic

furnaces with carbonic materials, carbonic e graphite blocks.

II. THE TREATMENT OF METALLIC SLAG

Our company possesses the ore license of using for ferrochrome slag.

We dispose ferrochrome slag and we do their treatment.

A. For ferrochrome slag in Elbasan we dispose Mineral Licence for exploitation No. 853

dated on 20.04.2005 for 20 years period, in the surface from 0, 33 km 2.

B. For ferrochrome slag in Burrel we dispose Mineral Licence for exploitation No. 896

dated on 04.08.2005 for 20 years period, in the surface from 0,087 km 2.

For further processing of slag we have a project and we are working for the providing of

technologic line of their processing.

c. Processing of technologic of ferronickel waste and metallurgical slag

Our company is provided with Mineral Permit No. 978 dated on 04.12.2006 for the

processing of slag in Elbasan.

III. IN FIELD OF ORE EXPLOITATION

a. Our company develop its activity in exploitation ore field, the treatment

and its export too. The company possess Exploitation Mineral Permit, No. 711

date10.07.2003 for exploitation of Nickel Silicate Mine in Katjel, Prrenjas, and

Librazhd.

b. In close relationship with FeNi Industries, our Company works as

subcontractor with A & F Nickel, (FeNi Industries) for the Ferro Nickel and

Nickel Silicate in Bitincka mine exploitation, Devoll

IV. The Company is in proces to be supplied with some other Exploite and Resurch

Permition in Ferro Nickel ore field in Prrenjas and Librazhd.

V. The Company offer different services as technical and technologic assistance, studies

in industries and ore field, made possible from a qualified staff that has in those fields,

different transport service, in metallic construction and detail production, import & export of

metallurgical raw material.
