Established in 1991, M.E.D. Surgical specialised in

the distribution of OR products. The company has

grown significantly since then and our mission is

to provide best in-class service across all divisions

of expertise. Our focus is to ensure all our

customers receive a level of service that not only

meets but exceeds their expectations.

An extensive portfolio covering a range of

specialties including Ophthalmology, Infection

Prevention, Anaesthetics, Cardiology/Vascular,

Urology/Gynaecology and Rehabilitation, has

made us the leading provider of specialist medical

devices in Ireland.

Our commitment to excellent customer service

has nurtured and developed multiple long-

standing partnerships across public and private

hospitals and is exemplified by the employment of

33 people nationwide, including 21 dedicated sales

specialists.

M.E.D. Surgical are delighted to have announced their latest addition

to their portfolio. The Orthopaedic Soft Goods and Bracing division

was launched in May 2017 and primarily focuses on A&E, Plaster Room,

Physiotherapy, Rehab Units, Orthopaedic Out patients, Minor Injuries Unit

and Tissue Viability. The Orthopaedic Soft Goods and Bracing Division

is set to provide for all Hospitals, The Private Sector, G.P’s and Patients

Direct in the Republic of Ireland.

Products available are all upper and lower limb Orthoses. Covering all

Trauma Departments, Rehabilitation Units, Orthotics, and Post-Surgical

Units. This division represents a number of leading manufacturers of

Orthopaedic Soft Goods and Bracing such as:

Talarmade Specialists in Orthopaedic Soft Goods Based in the UK

Danmic Specialists in Hand Therapy and Rehabilitation Products Based in USA

M.E.D. Surgical also provide a dedicated sales team to drive this division.

With over 30 years’ experience in Soft Goods and Post Op Bracing

between UK and Ireland, we offer our customers on-going support and

assistance on a daily basis. In addition to this we also provide in house

Training, Seminars and Educational Days working alongside Clinicians

and Company Specialists.

M.E.D. Surgical offer a full service to all hospitals enabling Purchasing

Departments to rationalise their suppliers using M.E.D. Surgical as a one

stop shop, therefore saving resource on procurement.
