Follow the tips below to get the most out of your new pair of Garmont’sand extend the life of old ones by taking proper care of them.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR GARMONT BOOTS

Remove the laces and the footbed, open up the boots fully, and allow them to air out after every outing.
Rinse off mud and dirt by brushing the boots with a sponge, damp cloth or soft brush under lukewarm clean water.
Store your boots back in their original box and keep them in a dry environment, avoiding sources of moisture.
To nourish the leather to maintain the correct degree of support and suppleness, as well as to maximize its water resistance, it’s important to regularly treat your boots with a suitable waterproofing treatment. We recommend re-proofing the boots whenever they get particu-larly dirty or when water stops beading on the surface of the boots.
Air dry your boots in a cool, dry place. Never dry your boots using a heat source, as this will damage the leather uppers.
If your boots are very wet, stuff each boot with newspaper during the drying process and change the newspaper every day until the boots are fully dry.

To nourish the leather to maintain the correct degree of support and suppleness, as well as to maximize its water resistance, it’s important to regularly treat your boots with a suitable waterproofing treatment. We recommend re-proofing the boots whenever they get particu-larly dirty or when water stops beading on the surface of the boots.
Air dry your boots in a cool, dry place. Never dry your boots using a heat source, as this will damage the leather uppers.
If your boots are very wet, stuff each boot with newspaper during the drying process and change the newspaper every day until the boots are fully dry.
