SuperMag high temperature insulation, made from long strand
spun, high purity AES, low Bio-persistent fibers to form a strong,
flexible blankets providing superior insulation properties for
temperatures up to 2200 F (1200 C). SuperMag is manufactured
in two different products grades to match the application
requirement and economics. Standard SuperMag blankets is a
cost effective alternative to RCF for applications to 2200 F (1100
C), SuperMag-HI offers the same temperature rating as
standard Supermag, but with much lower shot content and finer
fiber diameters, SMG-HI has lower thermal conductivity, and
lower dust and irritation.
Both grades are available in a range of thicknesses and
densities.
