    BE20 - Engine Protection / ControlBE20 is a compact control and protection systemfor diesel engines. It can easily be mounted ondifferent kind of engine frames or be put in acabinet. BE20 monitors oil pressure, fuel level,battery voltage, dynamo plus (belt break) andgenerates alarms in abnormal engine conditions.Belt-break or charge failure can be detected bymonitoring the alternator voltage. Alternatorexcitation is also provided via this connection.Any alarm input is connected to protectionswitches, has LED indication and is memoryresident until the key-switch is turned in ‘OFF’position. Except ‘LOW FUEL LEVEL’ any alarmstops the engine. An external emergency stopinput is provided for remote stop.During engine cranking and for a short timeafterwards, all relevant alarm inputs areoverwritten in order to let the engine achieve anormal running condition. Once the timer hasexpired, normal fault protection is provided bythe module.

    BE11 - Genset Automation1 Phase AMF Module, 12 or 24V

    BE11 is a basic 1-phase automatic Mains failuremodule including protection for (STANDBY)GENSETS. It uses an advanced single chipmicrocomputer for an easy and trouble freeGENSET control in case of Mains power failures.If Mains fails (over-/under voltage, loss ofMains), the BE11 initiates (‘AUTO’ and ‘TEST’mode only) an automatic Genset start cycleincluding load transfer to the generator byswitching the Mains/generator contactors. AfterMains is restored, the load will be automaticallytransferred back to Mains and the Genset willstop after a cooling down time. In ‘MAN’ mode,the load transfer from Mains to generator andvice versa must be provided by external wiring.During all cycles, the engine and generator arefully protected against malfunction. All alarmsoccurring at abnormal Genset conditions arecomputed and displayed either by LED or the 3digit display. They stop, if necessary, the Gensetby protection switches.Values of voltage to initiate Genset start andtimer settings for preheat, cooling down timeetc. are free programmable.The basic BE11 can be upgraded by adding the3-phase module BE11-3 (for unbalanced loads)with prefabricated AMP MATE-N-LOCKconnectors.The BE11 has 20 powerful automaticprogrammable parameters to fit the program flowto customers needs. The BE11 is designed to bemounted directly on the engine frame or incabinets.

    Option BE11-33-phase option for BE11-12V/24V (measures T-Nand L3-N voltages). This additional unit provides3-phase voltage protection for the BE11-series.The voltages of the phases L1-L2 (Mains) and R-S (generator) are sampled to detect unbalancedloads on the Mains in order to start the GENSETin any Mains failure situation. Calibration range320-360Vac. Power supply range from 7Vdc to33Vdc.

    BE32 / BE32-NGenset Automation 3 Phase AMF

    Module, 12 - 24VBE 32 is a 3-phase automatic Mains failuremodule including protections for stand-byGensets and Prime Movers.

    If Mains fails (over-/under frequency, over-/undervoltage, loss of Mains), the BE32 initiates(‘AUTO’ mode) an automatic Genset start cycleincluding load transfer to the generator byswitching the Mains/generator contactors. AfterMains is restored, the load will be automaticallytransferred back to Mains and the Genset willstop after a cooling down time. In ‘MAN’ mode,the load transfer from Mains to generator andvice versa must be provided by external wiring.During all cycles, the engine and generator arefully protected against malfunction. All alarmsoccurring at abnormal Genset conditions arecomputed and displayed either by LED or the 3digit display. They stop, if necessary, the Gensetby protection switches. VDE sensors for oilpressure and water temperature can be used forindication on the 3 digit display.

    The BE32 has 25 powerful programmableparameters to fit the program flow to customersneeds such as free programmable C.T. ratio andover current settings. Values of voltage, andfrequency to initiate Genset start in AMF modeand timer settings for preheat, cooling downtime, etc. can be set. BE32 is designed to bemounted in cabinets and protectedenvironments.

    Option BE32-NAn RS232-C interface and software is providedfor data management and parameterprogramming via PC. In connection with amodem, complete remote control and monitoringis possible.

    BE23 – Autostart Unit for Gensets12 to 24V

    BE 23 is an autostart unit for starting andstopping the engine and to protect theGenerating Set from faulty conditions. Up anddown keys allow the user to switch betweenmenus in order to see detailed information onalarms, program parameters, power values of thegenerator and analogue engine quantities such aswater temperature and oil pressure. The pushbuttons allow the user to set various parameterson the unit itself.Operation is done via the “START”, “STOP”,“MAN and “AUTO” push buttons. The resetbutton enables resetting of alarms and outputs.An external key-switch input is provided.

    The unit measures 3 phase voltage, thefrequency and the actual current on one phase.Also, true power and reactive power isdisplayed. The bright, powerful 4 digit LEDdisplay allows easy readability. Userprogrammable inputs and outputs allow adaptingthe module to customer needs such as N/O, N/Cswitches, delays, shut down modes.

    The BE23 has powerful programmableparameters to fit the program flow to customersneeds and is designed for front panel mounting.

    Option BE23-RS232RS 232 is a plug on interface to BE23 to connectBE23 to a PC. In order to let the PC remotelymonitor and adjust the parameters, a specialsoftware is supplied.

    BE2000 - Genset Automation1&3 Phase AMF Module, 12 - 24V

    BE 2000 is a sophisticated, 1/3-phase automaticMains failure module including protection forstand-by Gensets running in isolated mode. Keyfeatures of the unit are the bright 3x3 digit LEDdisplay for V/A/PF/kW of Mains and Generator aswell as the 8 digit real text display for values,parameters and alarms. An RS232 interface anda easy to use software provide direct or remotecontrol via PC. Parameters can be easy copiedfrom unit to unit and parameters/values/alarmscan be stored for tracing and fault analysis.

    BM80B - Genset Automation3 Phase AMF Module, 12 to 24V

    BM80B is a cost effective 3-phase automaticMains failure module including protection forstand-by Gensets and Prime Movers up to270kW. The BM80B consists of BM80B controlunit for front panel mounting and the BM80Cbattery charger & relay card. The charger modulemounts on DIN-Rail and contains all necessaryconnectors for the wiring. The two units areconnected via flat band cable and no additionalwires have to be brought to the front door of thepanel. The key features are the simplicity of useas well as the included battery charger module,which reduces additional installation costs tomain breakers and panel meters.

    If Mains fails (over-/under voltage, loss ofMains), the BM80B initiates an automatic Gensetstart cycle (In ‘AUTO’ mode) including loadtransfer to the generator by switching theMains/generator contactors. After Mains isrestored, the load will be automaticallytransferred back to Mains and the Genset willstop after a cooling down time. In ‘MAN’ mode,the load transfer from Mains to generator andvice versa must be provided by external wiring.During all cycles, the engine and generator arefully protected against malfunction. All alarmsoccurring at abnormal Genset conditions arecomputed and displayed either by LED or the 3digit display. They stop, if necessary, the Gensetby protection switches.Values of voltage to initiate Genset start andtimer settings for overload, cooling down timeetc. are programmable via potentiometers.

    The BM80B has programmable parameters to fitthe program flow to customers needs eithersettable via potentiometers or dip-switches.BM80B is designed to be mounted directly on theengine frame or in cabinets.
