Information, Terms and Conditions Page 2.1 Deliveries We will endeavour to deliver all generic stock items within two working days from receipt of the written order. All customer specific items have individual lead times, which can be confirmed by Sales Order Processing. Where the above delivery times cannot be met the Sales Order Processing Team will inform you. Standard delivery services are free of charge subject to a minimum order value of £1,500. Small Orders Every effort will be made to ship small orders (e.g. handsets, ex-stock cassettes) within 48 hours of receipt, subject to credit status and stock availability. However orders less than £1,500 value will be subject to a per consignment charge of £15.00. Under exceptional circumstances, quicker deliveries can be achieved by arrangement: • Next Day Delivery – 10am next day delivery is possible (subject to credit status and stock

availability) for orders received by 2:30pm. The additional charge is £25.00. The Short Order Code is NDD

• Same Day Delivery – For orders received by 2:30pm (subject to credit status and stock

availability). Additional charges (e.g. Courier fees) are subject to individual quotation. The Short Order Code is SDD

Discounts Trade discounts are based upon quarterly volume purchases of equipment, documentation, repair and training services. A standard discount matrix is available from Account Managers on request. The following items are excluded from the applicable discount matrix: PCs (when sold excluding applications) 20% discount Remote Access Module (when sold individually) 30% discount INDeX 20AT 25% discount Headsets (GN Netcom) 30% discount Repairs Nett Price Training Nett Price Returns Procedure All Early Life Failures (ELFs) should be reported to the INDeX Field Support Group (FSG) for diagnosis/confirmation. Once confirmed, details of the ELF item will be notified to Order Processing by FSG. Order Processing will fax the Reseller offices with the item details. A replacement will be shipped as expediently as possible and a RMA Number issued for return of the faulty item. The Reseller will be charged if the faulty item is not returned in 8 weeks. The failed equipment should be shipped for the attention of Multimessage with the corresponding RMA documentation and completed Product Return Label. Full details of the Returns Procedure are given in Section 11.

Information, Terms and Conditions Page 2.2 Payment Our standard terms of payment – 45 days from dates of invoice – apply and will be enforced. Additional discounts are available for payment by Direct Debit in either 7 or 30 days. Contact your Account Manager for details. Warranties Effective 1st September 1995, all INDeX 100, 200, 400, 1000 and CSLC components including the 20DT DECT handset are subject to a 15 month repair or replacement warranty, effective from date of invoice. Components in the INDeX DECT range carry a 12 month warranty, whilst INDeX 20AT offers a warranty period of 3 years. Factored, branded or non-branded products are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the various suppliers. Most are repair or replacement warranties within 12 months of invoice date and will be indicated as appropriate within this document. Repair Procedure Full details in respect of our policy and procedures for repair activity is detailed in Section 11 of this document, with corresponding pricing. Please note that all items returned to us which have passed their specified warranty period will be liable for repair charges as quoted.

Cabinets INDeX supports 3 cabinets, which are similar in design. The difference between the Control Cabinet and the Expansion Cabinet is that the Control Cabinet is supplied with the RS232 wiring harness pre-installed. All Cabinets are supplied with a 3m mains lead for use with either the PSU4 or PSU8.

Power Supplies The INDeX power supplies are both fully pluggable within the Control Unit Cabinet and the Expansion Cabinet. Every Cabinet on the system requires a power supply with a separate mains power source. Power Supplies are supplied without the mains lead.

Rack System The Rack is an optional enclosure recommended for any system utilising more than 2 Cabinets. It is supplied complete with all necessary fixing brackets. The Rack Mounting Kit consists of cooling system and cables (required to install up to 5 Cabinets). Each Rack Mounting Kit will support 2 cabinets. Rack mounting kits are extra to the Rack system.

The PSU4 can support up to 4 cassettes maximum and the PSU8 up to 8, including the CPU. It may be used in either the Control Cabinet or an Expansion Cabinet.

INDeX Components and Configuration – Device Cassettes Page 3.5 Digital Extension Cassettes Digital Subscriber Line Card (DSLC) supports the 20 Series range of Digital Terminals – specifically the 2010, 2030, 2050, 2060, 20CC and the 20DS. The Digital 2B+D technology supports single twisted pair. All DSLC Cassettes are supplied complete with a 3m, 32 pair cable for connection to MDF with a dedicated connector at the cassette end. Available in 8, 16, 24 and 32 channel variants.

Analogue Cassettes The ‘ALOG’ Cassettes provide 7 options of analogue interfaces including AC15 Private Networking, Analogue (PABX-POTS) extensions and Analogue Trunk Lines. The hybrid ALOGS provide for a combination of exchange lines and extensions and have up to 2 power fail circuits maximum. Analogue extension circuits support message waiting lights. ISDN Primary Rate – Euro PRI Cassette The Euro PRI Cassette provides an ISDN primary rate (30B+D) interface using the Euro ISDN signalling format Q931/I421. These cassettes are supported on Level 6.1 software and above. Q-Sig Support From Level 9.0 software onwards, the E-PRI-8, 15 and 30 channel cassettes can be used to provide a Q-Sig interface.

ISDN Basic Rate – BRI Cassette The BRI Cassettes provide ISDN basic rate (2B+D) interfaces supporting both T-interface and S-interface. The interface is selected on a per port basis. DPNSS Cassettes DPNSS Digital Private Network Signalling System. Digital private networking connections from as low as 15 channels. ACA Cassettes The ACA Cassette consists of 4 message modules (3x16 seconds, 1x60 seconds) for the storage of either messages or music. Level 6.2 software and above are recommended for ACA.

BRIC Cassette The Basic Rate Combo Cassette provides 8 analogue extension circuits, 16 digital extension circuits supporting the complete 20 series range of terminals and 4 ISDN basic rate (2B+D) interfaces supporting both T and S interfaces on a per port basis. IP Networking Cassette The IP Networking Cassette (IPNC) has been designed for Internet Access, Remote LAN access and Voice over IP solutions. The basic cassette, suitable for Internet Access solutions, is shipped with two 64K B channels, an X.21/V35/V24 lease line port, 10BaseT Ethernet port and 10/100Base T Ethernet port. Each cassette includes a single Ethernet cable and the Administration CD. Modem, voice compression options and a 32 channel licence key for Remote LAN access and Voice over IP solutions are only available to those BusinessPartners who are ‘Application Networking Solutions Product’ authorised.

VCC Cassette The VCC enables INDeX to provide Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) between INDeX switches over any INDeX compatible digital bearer e.g. DASS, DPNSS, Euro-ISDN. The VCC has 3 variants, VCC 8, VCC 16 and the VCC 28, with the number representing the maximum number of compressed voice calls.

The unit has the same dimensions and footprint as the 20CC and is available in INDeX Grey. The 20DS unit requires its own DSLC port and a local mains socket. It is supported on INDeX level 6.2 software and above only. There is no limit to the number of 20DS units that can be associated with a terminal.

INDeX Components and Configuration – INDeX DECT Page 3.13 INDeX DECT The INDeX DECT is a digital cordless telephony system for connection to the INDeX range of systems. The system comprises three elements, 20DT cordless handsets, DECT Base Stations (DBS) and the Cordless Subscriber Line Cassette or DECT Control Unit (DCU). Each DBS provides an area of radio coverage called a cell. Normally several DBSs are deployed at different locations to provide complete radio coverage for the customer’s premises. Typically each DBS has a range of 60 to 600 metres depending on the building construction. The CSLC or DCU performs the functions of an intelligent interface between the INDeX system and the DBS. The user of a 20DT can make and receive calls anywhere within range of a DBS. INDeX DECT can support a maximum capacity of 32 DBS and 128 handsets. As its name suggests, INDeX DECT uses technology compliant with the global DECT standard for digital cordless telephony. This means that in addition to enjoying the high quality digital speech, calls to and from a 20DT are entirely secure and cannot be monitored or overheard. All INDeX DECT equipment is GAP compatible, allowing the interoperability of other GAP compatible products. The INDeX DECT also supports the features of roaming and seamless handover for 20DT users. Roaming is the ability to make and receive calls when moving between the radio coverage areas of different DBSs. Seamless handover is the ability to move between the coverage areas of different DBSs during a call. The user is not aware of the handover because there is no change in speech quality. INDeX DECT DCU can be used with most other telephone systems that can provide analogue extension ports supporting DTMF or loop dialling.

Cordless Subscriber Line Card The CSLC provides the DECT interface directly into the INDeX. The CSLC-DBS connects to the CSLC providing DECT coverage. There are two variants of CSLC, CSLC 8 supporting 8 Base Stations and the CSLC 16 supporting 16 Base Stations. Base Stations (DECT-DBS and CSLC DBS) There are two Base Stations variants, the CSLC-DBS and the DECT-DBS. The DBS provides radio coverage of between 60 and 600 metres depending on building construction. It is connected to the CSLC or DCU by a single twisted pair cable of maximum 1km length. Each DBS can support 4 simultaneous 20DT calls. The CSLC comes in two variants, supporting 8 or 16 DBS’s. The DCU supports 8 DBSs as standard or 16 DBSs if the DEB is installed. When using the INDeX DECT Link Package a maximum of 32 DBS’s may be supported. Supplied with 2m line cord. 20DT Cordless Handsets The 20DT is a lightweight pocket size cordless handset, supplied with user guide and battery giving 10 hours talk time or 90 hours standby. The 20DT can support the connection of a headset. The 20DT supports an array of cordless features but also has access to all the features associated with an Alog 2 wire port. DECT Control Unit (DCU) The DECT Control Unit provides an intelligent interface between the INDeX and the DECT Base Stations. It comprises a wall mounted cabinet with an integrated PSU and intelligent motherboard. The motherboard provides the processor function of INDeX DECT and interfaces for 8 DBSs. Also supported by the motherboard are a maximum of 8 DECT Alog Boards (DAB) and the DECT Expansion Board (DEB).

INDeX Components and Configuration – INDeX DECT Page 3.14 DECT Alog Board (DAB) The DAB is installed in the DCU and provides 8 interface circuits for connection to Alog cassettes in the associated communications system. The DAB interface circuits support DTMF or loop dialling. A dedicated DAB interface circuit is required for each 20DT handset on INDeX DECT. The DCU supports 8 DABs, each DAB supports 8 20DT handsets, so the maximum capacity of a single DCU is 64 20DTs. Supplied with DAB 5m cable for connection to the TJF. Provides 8 analogue interfaces to the host PBX supporting time break recall. Each handset requires a DAB interface. Maximum of 8 DAB’s per DECT Control Unit (64 handsets). The unit is supplied with a DAB 5m cable for connection to the TJF. DECT Expansion Board (DEB) This is installed in the DCU to provide interfaces for an additional 8 DBSs. A DEB must be installed if the total number of DBS to be supported by INDeX DECT is between 9 and 16 (i.e. greater than 8). Supplied with DCU/DEB 5m cable for connection to TJF. DECT Repeater Base Station The coverage offered by the DECT Base Station can sometimes be limited by the ability to run cables to remote areas. The introduction of the DECT Repeater Base Station allows the area covered by DECT to be increased without the need to lay more cables. Supplied with a PSU and base station. DECT Repeater Base Station Administrator The DECT Repeater Base Station Administrator is supplied with a cable and associated software. DECT Directional Antenna A directional antenna for use with the DECT Repeater Base Station to extend coverage of INDeX DECT.

20DT Cover Leather cover for the 20DT with belt clip. Single Charger Desktop charger for a single 20DT handset. Supplied with plug top power supply unit. Headset Adaptor Cable Stereo 2.5mm plug to quick disconnect headset connector, enables GN Netcom headset to be used with the 20DT. The recommended headsets are the ADDvantage monaural – order code HS/ADD/IND, the Profile I/II/III order code HS/P123/IND and the Optima monaural order code HS/OPTIMA. DECT Belt Clip The DECT Belt Clip for the 20DT is a heavy duty belt clip providing a simple mechanism for release. INDeX System Prices – INDeX Feature Licensing Page 5.10 INDeX Feature Licensing In order for certain system features and hardware components to function on the INDeX platform licence keys are required. The process adopted is that software licences are sold which comprise either a licence key or licence keys depending on the specific application. Resellers will order the relevant software licence and will be supplied with the appropriate licence key or keys. Each licence key is a unique 16-digit alphanumeric pass code that is specific to the serial number of each CPU and must be entered into the system database via system programming. Although not physical devices the licence keys are conceptually similar to the dongles. Certain features will not operate without the appropriate software licence.

A licence that enables a certain type of hardware component typically determines how many devices of that type can be used. Software licences in this section must be ordered when required and are only automatically supplied as indicated. This section only describes licence keys that may be ordered via Order Processing as individual items. INDeX Voice Manager, Customer Care Modules and CT Integrator also contain licence keys. However the licence keys are automatically “bundled” as an integrated component within these products and may not be ordered as individual items from Order Processing.

INDeX Contact Centre Modules Overview

INDeX Contact Centre Modules provided as Software Only Avaya recognises that some BusinessPartners / end users may prefer to install on their own hardware platforms or licensed copies of Microsoft NT and SQL. The OEM agreement Avaya holds with Microsoft only entitles the shipment of Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Windows NT with complete hardware and software solutions. Therefore, in a software only purchase, BusinessPartners are required to source their own licensed copies. This cost must be borne in mind by the BusinessPartner. In addition, the versions and service packs required by INDeX Contact Centre Modules (CCM) should be verified with INDeX Field Support Group (FSG), as it may change from time to time. Where customers wish to make use of their own hardware platform, Avaya provide a chargeable service where assistance is provided in configuring the PC and resolving issues. This by no means constitutes a guarantee that the system can be made to work, and results in limited hardware support liability afterwards. To exercise this option, the INDeX Field Support Group’s (FSG) assistance must be sought PRIOR to the order being accepted, such that hardware configurations, requirements, and resource planning can take place before a commitment to work on the platform is provided. This is priced on an individual basis and may, in rare circumstances, conclude that the hardware platform selected is not compatible with INDeX CCM. In a software only purchase, the pricing applied to the INDeX CCM software modules remain as defined in this price list, with the exception of the INDeX CCM Server PC.

Avaya offers a range of Contact Centre Modules, which allow INDeX users of any size to provide outstanding telephone customer service. INDeX Contact Centre Modules (CCM) are designed to be modular, scalable and cost effective, allowing the user to select the most suitable modules for their particular business environment. The modules have been designed to provide a low cost entry to allow the management of a Customer Facing Department (CFD). INDeX CCM supports departments from as few as 5 telephone staff to fully featured contact centres of many hundreds of agents. All INDeX Contact Centre Modules can be provided on pre-installed hardware platforms, INDeX CCM Server PCs, that include all the relevant required Microsoft NT and SQL licences. (These are optimised to cater for the traffic levels and number of Supervisor (client) connections). Alternatively, these are available as a software only option, depending on the customer’s preferences and business requirements.

INDeX CCM Server PC Options The three server options are entitled CCM SPC-5, CCM SPC-10 and CCM SPC-20, to reflect the maximum number of concurrent Supervisors (clients) that may be connected to the server. There is no simple upgrade path from the CCM SPC-5 to the CCM SPC-10 or the CCM SPC-20, and therefore, careful consideration should be taken to ensure that the correct platform is recommended to the end user. To that end, the following guidelines are provided on selecting the appropriate server platform. Additionally, a CCM/IVM configuration tool is also available to assist this decision. Three factors affect the choice of INDeX CCM Server PC: • Number of Agents within the contact centre • Number of calls potentially received by the contact centre • Number of Supervisor (client) positions required You must install an INDeX CCM Server PC (CCM SPC-10) if:

Supplementary details on Agents, Calls and Supervisors (1) Number of agents The higher the number of agents servicing telephone calls concurrently, the higher the volume of agent state data required to be captured by the Report Manager. In addition, for low number of agent deployments, it is viable to run CCM and IVM Supervisor (client) applications on the INDeX CCM Server PC, whilst on larger sites, it is recommended that the INDeX CCM Server PC is dedicated to data acquisition and acting as a wallboard server. (2) Number of calls The higher the number of calls, the higher the volume of data to be archived for historical analysis purposes, and the greater the size of the INDeX CCM Server PC storage required in order to support historical analysis over longer time periods. (3) Number of Supervisor positions The manner in which Supervisors configure and access the INDeX CCM Server PC is through connecting an application running on their own desktop PC to the INDeX CCM Server PC. Licensing restrictions restrict the number of concurrent desktop PC connections to INDeX CCM Server PC to a maximum of 5 on the CCM Server PC (CCM SPC-5) configuration. This may be increased to 10 on the INDeX CCM Server PC (CCM SPC-10), and then 20 on the INDeX CCM Server PC (CCM SPC-20), subject to the appropriate Microsoft NT licence pack being installed. Therefore, if the customer requirement within the next 24 months is likely to exceed 5 connections, it is recommended that INDeX CCM Server PC (CCM SPC-10) be deployed immediately. Note: the CCM clients may be loaded on any Windows 32 bit PC and do not require the purchase of any hardware from Avaya. The specification of such a PC must adhere to the following minimum requirement: Pentium P266, 64 MB RAM, Windows 95, 98, NT-4 Workstation or 2000 Professional, CD-ROM, 3.5” floppy, screen, keyboard, mouse, network card. It is possible to have the option of a rack mountable PC for all CCM Server PC’s. This PC is not for the installation in the INDeX rack; it is for installation in a customer supplied 19” rack. INDeX CCM v1 upgrades to CCM v2 Avaya has always strived to protect customers’ investment in its product portfolio, by providing an easy upgrade path to their latest technology. Avaya provides two upgrade paths for existing CCM v1 customers to migrate to CCM v2:

(1) CCM SPC-9 upgrade kit The upgrade kit contains hardware and software, enabling an existing customer to upgrade their CCM SPC- 9 running CCM v1 software, to a CCM Server PC with a similar specification to a CCM SPC-10 plus CCM v2 software. This upgrade will be FOC to the customer and requires the BusinessPartner to load the latest INDeX Application CD (IND-APPS-CD) onto the customers existing CCM Server platform.

SDX ACD Manager to INDeX CCM Upgrades Avaya fully supports customers wishing to upgrade previous copies of SDX ACD Manager to INDeX CCM. The SDX ACD Manager Server PC is NOT capable of running the INDeX CCM Server software, and therefore the purchase of a CCM Server PC is required. It is recommended that the old SDX ACD Manager Server PC is retained in order to permit historic data to be accessed after CCM upgrade. ACD Wallboards ACD Wallboards provide information using the call statistics collected by the SDX ACD Manager. When upgrading to a VM 5.9, the maximum programs (99) are required. Please check the label on your existing dongle. If the label does not state “Max program 99” then a new dongle is required. On receipt of the order, a new dongle will be sent out and a charge raised for a complete new system. Note: we will not accept any hardware or Dialogic voice/fax cards for credit. Existing SDX Voice Managers corresponding to the system sizes listed at the beginning of this section can be upgraded to provide either larger systems and/or increased functionality. The upgrade comprises of a new dongle (a security device that plugs into the rear of a PC) plus additional Dialogic cards and/or larger hard disk where necessary. It may also be necessary to upgrade the PC platform to one capable of supporting 32 channels. This will be required when upgrading to more ports on an SDX PC3.75 or SDX PC4, or more than 16 ports on all other platforms.

Standard voice product discounts apply to SDX Voice Manager system upgrades. To determine the cost of an upgrade for an SDX based system, calculate the difference in RSP (using current price list) between the installed and the required system and add to this the upgrade charge indicated below. Upgrade RSP = (Required system RSP –

Repairs – The service centre Page 11.1 Quality service Fully trained engineers

We offer a high quality repair service for all our products. • All work is completed by fully trained engineers.

Quality components • Only quality components approved for manufacturing are used. 15 month repair warranty • All equipment has a full 15 month warranty from the date of sale.

Some equipment sold is manufactured by other companies and is, therefore, subject to their warranty terms. This includes GN Netcom headsets, computer monitors and keyboards, modems and printers.

3 month repair warranty • All repaired equipment has a full 3 month warranty from the date of repair.

Warranty cover • Our warranty covers faults due to improper design, manufacture or repair by us. Equipment which has been abused, tampered with, improperly installed or maintained, is not covered by our warranty.

What we will do Replace when necessary • Replace any warranty repair considered to be beyond economic

repair (due to faulty workmanship, materials or manufacture) with another unit of similar type and specification. In addition, we will replace selected higher volume repairs with an equivalent unit to provide a faster turn-around time and better service.

Soak test No Fault Founds • Soak test all No Fault Found units for a minimum of 12 hours to ensure fault free operation.

Clean all repairs • All PCBs and units will be cleaned and re-boxed as far as is practical to ensure the condition of returned equipment is suitable for use of a customer on another site.

Upgrade if possible • Returned equipment is modified to incorporate any engineering developments to improve performance, reliability or field compatibility (subject to limitations of returned hardware at our discretion).

Charge standard fixed prices • We will charge standard, fixed repair prices, as per the enclosed price list, for all out of warranty repairs. These charges will apply to all items returned for repair. Resellers who need to approve charges or who need Purchase Orders to be completed before repairs are carried out, must establish separate, mutually agreed, written arrangements with us beforehand.

What we will NOT do No repair of site damage • Replace parts that have been damaged or removed during

installation or maintenance (except at our discretion). In such events, Repair Administration will contact customers and seek authority to proceed on a chargeable basis before doing work.

No repair if too costly • Repair a unit, which in our opinion, is damaged or faulty to such an extent that it is not safe, practical or cost effective to do so.

Repairs – Repairs Policy and Procedure Page 11.2 Repair Policy Warranty repairs in 10 days • We aim to process and return all Warranty repairs within 10 working

days (subject to spares availability) of receipt. Non-warranty repairs in 10 days

• We aim to process and return all non-warranty repairs within 10 working days (subject to spares availability) of receipt. Customers will be notified of the repair changes if an item is out of warranty and written authority is required to proceed.

No return delivery charges • No delivery charges are applied for the return of repairs within the UK. Obsolete Products • A number of our products have become or are becoming obsolete,

with spares no longer being available. These include all early PC models, (non-Windows) Operator Consoles, and many products made over 5 years ago. We will endeavour to repair all products sent to us, but cannot guarantee to repair PCs which are more than 3 years old. These will be returned unrepaired if we are unable to fix them.

Standard Repair Returns procedure Please ship all returns for the attention of INDeX Repair Centre, c/o

Multimessage Systems Ltd, Units 1 & 2 Block 26, Cranborne Industrial Estate, Cranborne Road, Potters Bar, Herts, EN6 3JH, UK (tel: 01707 644480, fax: 01707 646745) at cost to the customer. An advice note must accompany each consignment, detailing quantities and descriptions of each item for repair and stating the addresses to where repairs are to be returned and invoiced. Contact names and telephone/fax numbers should also be included. A product Return Label must be attached to each returned item (see Reseller Update Nos. 101 and 102) and completed with reason for return, problem type, date, fault description, site name (where fault arose), name of engineer identifying fault, reseller name and (for all products being returned as Early-Life failures, or for credit) RMA number assigned by our Field Support Group. Failure to provide the necessary information may result in an item being returned unrepaired.

Advance Early-Life Failure Replacement Where advance replacement of an Early-Life failure is required, report the fault

to Field Support Group (FSG tel. no. 01707 364404). FSG will assess whether the problem requires an advance replacement unit or can be fixed immediately. If an advance replacement is required, FSG will notify the reporting engineer of the Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number. This should be written on the Product Return Label and notified to Order Processing, who will arrange shipment of the replacement unit. A Purchase Order number must be advised to Order Processing, as these replacements will be invoiced at full RSP. The replacement unit will include a copy of the RMA form. Credit will only be given on receipt of the faulty unit, including ALL original packing and documentation, and with its completed numbered RMA form (providing we accept it as a genuine Early-Life failure) within 10 days of replacement issue.

Repairs – Repairs Policy and Procedure Page 11.3 Early-Life Failures Early-Life failures must follow the standard procedure and must include ALL

original packaging and documentation. Failure to comply may result in a rejection of the Early-Life failure claim. In this case, or if no RMA is included with the repair, we will treat the goods as normal warranty returns for repair as per our Repair Policy. Accepted Early-Life failures are exchanged for new stock or credited in full if covered by Advance Replacement.

Voice Manager, ACD Manager and Windows Operator Console Systems These products follow the same procedures for repair, return and Early-Life

failures as all others. Special attention should be paid to packing and completeness. Items damaged due to inadequate packing will not be repaired free of charge under warranty by us. Products returned incomplete to us will be repaired and sent back equally incomplete to the customer, or credited, at our discretion. Customers are recommended to return ONLY the faulty component of these systems to minimise risk of damage to other items.

Upgrades Software or hardware may be upgraded to later versions or PCS levels

according to information published in Main Price List or through Reseller updates. When an upgrade is required, the item to be upgraded should be sent to Repair Administration, together with a Purchase Order specifying the upgrade required. Repair Administration will contact the Reseller if additional information is needed. If no Purchase Order is sent with items for chargeable upgrades, we will not carry out the upgrade but will request a formal Purchase Order before proceeding

International Customers Our Repair Policy and Procedures will operate identically for International

Customers as for UK customers, but with the following exceptions: A longer time will be allowed for returns and repair turnaround in recognition of the additional freight requirement. The costs of freight for returns to us, and of chargeable repairs outwards from us, will be borne by the customer. Warranty repairs will be shipped via surface transport FOC, or by the air at the customer’s cost. Special care should be taken over packing.

INDeX CT Integrator – Overview Page 13.1

INDeX CT Integrator The INDeX CT Integrator runs on a Windows NT or Windows 2000 Server platform. The minimum level of INDeX software required to support the INDeX CT Integrator is level 9.0.2. INDeX CT Integrator will work with all INDeX sizes (from 30 to 1000), with either a CPU-V or a CPU-X.

Licensing Purchase of the INDeX CT Integrator SDK or Runtime enables CTI for all devices and computers connected to the INDeX switch.

ACD type applications that require agent related events, also require the CCM Agent Licence Pack to be installed. This must be set to the number of roaming agents that will be logged in to the INDeX. Please refer to the CCM price list section.

Requirements For INDeX CT Integrator to be installed, the following must be present:

• An INDeX running Level 9.0.2 software or later.

• A PC running Windows NT or Windows 2000 for the server. This may be an existing NT server that is simply connected to the INDeX via a LAN connection (if the INDeX has an INDeX Voice Manager installed) or via a serial cable. For more than 10 client computers, Windows NT Server or Windows 2000 Server or Advanced Server is required

• Client PCs running 32 bit windows (eg. Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000)

• The appropriate licences enabled on the INDeX CPU

• The LAN should be set up to use the TCP/IP or IPX protocol

The INDeX CSTA-1 gateway is an optional component of INDeX CT Integrator, and requires the purchase of the LIC-CTINT-RUN software licence.

INDeX Digital Recorder - Pricing Page 13.4 INDeX Digital Recorder The INDeX Digital Recorder may be configured from 4 concurrent channels up to a total of 16 channels per unit. Each optical disk has an archive capacity of 650 channel hours per side, therefore delivering up to 2600 channel hours of on line storage in a dual disk configuration. The INDeX Digital Recorder connects to the INDeX through ordinary analogue (ALOG) ports. In order to achieve the required CT integration through which calls are identified, recordings established and messages indexed, a LAN connection is required to a windows NT platform, running a copy of the INDeX Digital Recorder Gateway software. INDeX CT Integrator licences are not required for this. If the customer can not supply their own PC platform, a standard CCM server PC (order code CCM-SPC-20) may be purchased for this purpose. The system includes all required telephone cabling, LAN cabling for either point to point networking or connection to a hub, a set of 5 optical disks, supervisor software, manuals and guides. Please note that an order should contain both the hardware and the licence key elements.

INDeX Workflow Manager - Pricing Page 13.5 INDeX Workflow Manager

The INDeX Workflow Manager has two components. The first is The INDeX Workflow Designer that allows the off-line creation of custom campaigns by the supervisor. Up to 4 supervisor positions may be enabled per system. The second component is The INDeX Workflow Client, which is used by agents at run time to have access to the campaign scripts.

The product requires a Windows NT-4 server platform with a copy of Microsoft SQL server. It is possible to purchase a CCM server PC for this purpose if required, or to use a customers’ own PC platform. The server platform delivering CCM should not be used for this product, and a dedicated server is recommended.

An SPC-20 is recommended. Please see the CCM Section for more details.

Pricing INDeX Workflow Manager is supplied in kit form, as shown below. This kit includes both the designer and client components, and all associated documentation, as well as the application CD-ROM (IND-APPS-CD).
