This automated aqueous cleaning system uses work baskets to transport the parts through the wash, rinse, and drying stages. For cleaning, the work baskets with parts are immersed (to get to hard-to-reach areas) and agitated in the aque- ous cleaning solution. Then they are spray rinsed with the same solution to remove any redeposited oils from the parts. After cleaning the parts pass through a dry- off oven.
