User manual for Production Counter
INSTRUCTIONS:
Hang the display from a rigid structure. Ensure display is clear
from obstruction to anyobject movement in front of the display.
Display must be mounted away from heat andwater spray or high
humidity. Ensure display is away from strong light to
preventreflections and reduced visibility.Mount the Switch units at
a suitable location and wire them to the andon as per
instructions.
AC INPUT
Ensure the input is AC230V, single phase. Input must be from a
properly groundedoutlet and connected through a circuit
breaker.

Mount the Run/Pause Switch, RESET switch and the SET UP switch
close to each otherunless required by the production line to be
separately located.
Wiring for Run/Pause, RESET and SET/UP 0.5SqMM conductor Two or
Four corecable as required for the switch.
The Count Input from Input I and Input 2 may be connected using
the 4 PIN DINconnector. Note, the input is a Potential Free input
and NO VOLTAGE must be appliedto this input to prevent damage.
0.5SqMM Sheilded two core cable for each input to thedisplay
board.
MAINTENANCE.
Wipe the front of the display with a clean damp cloth and use
only mild soap if needed.Do not use any organic solvents to clean
the display front to prevent hazing andcracking. Display will
accumulate dust due to static and an antistatic solution safe
forAcrylic plastic may be applied after suitable care and
verification.
OPERATION.
To set the C.T (Sec):Press the SET switch. The Digit starts
blinking in the CT display. Press UP until thedesired value is
reached. Note the numbers cycle through 0 9. Press the SET
switchagain to move to the next digit and set the desired value.
Press the SET switch a thirdtime to set the value for the Third
digit. Once all the digits are set, the CT value will beshown on
the display. Once the CT value is set, the display will RESET
automatically.
Production - PRESS RESET switch to reset all the Zero at start
of Production. Thedisplay will count the plan as per the CT value
and the Actual and Efficiency will displayas per the production
status.
TROUBLESHOOTING.
1. Display does not turn ON.Ensure display power supply is
connected. Check the fuse and replace with the correcttype and
value. Do not increase the fuse capacity beyond the specified
limit. In casefuse blows again after replacement, contact
manufacturer for service.2. Actual not incrementing.Check the
Actual input wiring to ensure that the input is valid. The Actual
input may beshorted to check if the increment of the digit happens.
In case the digit increments, thewiring is suspect. However, if the
increment does not happen, contact manufacturer.3. Plan not
incrementing.Check if the Pause switch is ON. In case the pause
switch is not ON, check if the CTvalue is set too high. In this
case the plan value will increment after the CT time has
elapsed, which may be too long.4. Wrong values on production
display.Ensure that RESET is pressed at the start of the shift.
Typically, incorrect values mayshow in case the unit is not reset
at the start of the shift. Also, its important to reset theunit
ONLY at the start of the shift to ensure that no count is
missed.
