RUGX – EINZIGARTIG NACH MASS.NSCHAFT.

Jeder Teppich aus dem Hause OBJECT CARPET ist ein sorgfältig gefertigtes MANUFAKTUR Produkt. Mit 2400 Gramm reiner Seide bzw. 2.600 Gramm reiner Wolle sind die PURE SILK und PURE WOOL Produkte besonders edle Kollektionen – ob als Bahnenware oder auch als abgepasster RUGX .

RUGX werden aus hochqualitativer Bahnenware geschnitten und von Hand veredelt – das heißt mit den besten Eigenschaften für abgepasste Teppiche versehen. Das Ergebnis des Zusammenwirkens von Mensch und Maschine sind eine außergewöhnliche Präzision und Stabilität, etwa beim Erstellen der Ecken wie bei der beliebten konfektionierten Ware, bei der alle Kanten umgeschlagen werden.

Die Kantenveredelung von RUGX, sei es die Konfektionierung oder die Bandeinfassung, wird ausschließlich in Deutschland von Hand gefertigt.

Diese Pflegeanleitung soll Hilfestellung und An-leitung zugleich sein. Vorweg ein paar grundsätzliche Anmerkungen, die ein optimales Erscheinungsbild und den langen Werterhalt Ihres OBJECT CARPET Teppichbodens sicherstellen.

Um den hochwertigen Textilbelag nicht in seiner Qualität zu beeinträchti-gen, muss man bei der Wahl des Pflege- und Reinigungsverfahrens darauf achten, dass die Materialzusammensetzung, die Teppichbodenkonstrukti-on, der Teppichbodenrücken und auch die Verlegemethode berücksichtigt werden.

Schäden am Teppichboden, bzw. nicht zufriedenstellende Reinigungser-gebnisse, die im Zusammenhang mit einer nicht fachgerecht durchgeführ-ten Reinigung bzw. Fleckentfernung stehen, können von uns nicht als Re-klamation anerkannt werden und stellen im Rahmen der Gewährleistung keinen Warenmangel dar. Dies gilt auch, wenn der folgend empfohlene Pflege- und Reinigungsturnus nicht eingehalten wird. Die Grund- bzw. In-tensivreinigung, als auch die Zwischen- bzw. Oberflächenreinigung sollte ausschließlich von einem Fachbetrieb durchgeführt werden.

Sie haben sich für einen OBJECT CARPET PURE SILK / PURE WOOL Teppichboden entschieden – weil er sie mit all seinen positiven Eigenschaf-ten überzeugen konnte. Um diese Vorteile auch über die Nutzungszeit hinweg erhalten zu können, ist eine konsequent überlegte und geplante Pflege von Anfang an nötig.

Die Teppichbodenpflege wird zu Unrecht oft als problematisch und als von den Kosten her nicht kalkulierbar angesehen. Diese Beurteilung beruht häufig auf negativen Erfahrungen der Vergangenheit, durch Fehler bei der Wahl der Reinigungsmethode, der Festlegung von Reinigungsintervallen oder der Fleckenbehandlung. Zusätzlich ist die Auswahl einer geeigneten Qualität und Farbstellung von grundlegender Bedeutung für das zukünf-tige Reinigungsverhalten.

Unsere Objektfachberater geben Ihnen gern die entsprechenden Auskünfte. Richtige Pflege und entsprechende Behandlung von Anfang an des Teppichbodens bedeutet Werterhaltung und damit Kosteneinspar- ungen über die Lebenszeit des Objektes hinaus.

PFLEGE- UND REINIGUNGSHINWEISE

ENTSTAUBEN

Regelmäßiges Entstauben ist ohne Zweifel die wichtigste Komponente eines optimalen Teppichbodenpflegeprogramms. Die Entstaubung dient dem Lösen des Pigmentschmutzes von der Oberfläche und den Gewebe-zwischenräumen. Wir empfehlen den Teppichboden mit einem Staubsau-ger mit glatter Düse zu entstauben. Ein- bis zweimal wöchentlich sollte der Teppichboden mit einem leistungsstarken Bürstsauger mit weicher Bürste abgesaugt werden um die in der Anfangszeit sich lösenden Florfilamente aufzunehemen, wobei hier auf die richtige Einstellung der Bürstenhöhe, der Bürstenhärtegrad und eine systematische und gründliche Arbeitsweise zu achten ist.

Grundvoraussetzung für die Funktionalität der Bürstsaugmaschinen ist die regelmäßige Wartung, insbesondere der Bürsten, Filter (vorteilhaft: Micro-filter) und Beutel.

Ein Teppichboden ist zwingend von Anfang an vor Schmutzeintrag zu schützen, indem Sie in Eingangsbereichen und Problemzonen (von Hart-boden auf Textilbelag) ausreichend große Sauberlaufzonen einrichten. Den besten Erfolg haben Sie mit dem Installieren von Grob- und Feinschmutz-fangmatten.

Eine tägliche Unterhaltspflege der Sauberlaufzonen ist notwendig, damit diese nicht selbst zu einer Schmutzquelle werden. Dieser Stempelkissen- effekt kann ebenfalls entstehen, wenn bei der täglichen Pflege von Hart-belägen wachshaltige Produkte nicht fachgerecht zum Einsatz kommen.

Je früher ein Fleck behandelt wird, umso größer ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit ihn zu entfernen! Die Fleckendetachur umfasst die örtlich begrenzte Be-arbeitung von Flecken und Verunreinigungen. Dieser Arbeitsschritt gehört gemäß RAL 991/A3 in die tägliche Unterhaltsreinigung.

Werden Flecken sofort mit den für Seide oder Wolle geeigneten Mitteln behandelt, ist die vollständige Entfernung meistens problemlos. Eine Aus-nahme hierbei bilden Flecksubstanzen mit bleichender oder färbender Wirkung, welche ohne Angreifen der Oberfläche nicht restlos zu entfer-nen sind.

Leichte Schmutzstellen und Flecken lassen sich in den meisten Fällen mit handwarmen Wasser und einem saugfähigen Tuch (weiße Baumwolle) entfernen. Noch besser zur Schmutzaufnahme sind Reststücke des verleg-ten Teppichbodens. Dabei sollten Sie nicht reiben, sondern mit Druck den Fleck von außen nach innen heraus drehen. Hier kann auch als mechani-sche Unterstützung ein Mikrofaserhandschuh hilfreich sein.

GRUNDREINIGUNG

Für die Grundreinigung empfehlen wir eine Sprühextraktion. Nach erfolgter Vordetachur sprüht man ein für Seide oder Wolle geeignetes Reinigungsprodukt auf den Teppichboden. Mit Hilfe der Sprühextraktions-maschine wird der gelöste Schmutz durch Druck und ausreichende Was-serfördermenge aus dem Textilbelag gespült. Wichtig! – Kein Reinigungs-produkt in die Sprühextraktionsmaschine geben!

• Mehrmaliges Ausspülen mit klarem Wasser• durchnässen des Teppichbodens ist zu vermeiden• Trockenzeit mindestens 24 Stunden• Ungeeignet für wasserempfindliche Bodenkonstruktionen

Insbesondere ist beim Abziehen des Wassers darauf zu achten, dass man den Teppichboden gleichmäßig in Strichrichtung abzieht.

Geeignete Pflege- und Reinigungsprodukte für Seide und Wolle finden Sie z. B. bei RZ-Chemi, Dr. Schutz, Jeikner.

Die Lieferung der RUGX- Teppiche erfolgt innerhalb der EU frei Haus und unabgeladen.

Aus produktionstechnischen Gründen kann es Größenabweichun-gen der RUGX-Teppiche bis zu 2% geben.

Da die Einfassung des RUGX- Teppichs in wertvoller Handarbeit entsteht, ist es nicht immer möglich, einen eventuellen Übersprung in die nächste Noppengasse zu verhindern.

Bedingt durch das komplexe Herstellungsverfahren kann gegebenen-falls die Anschweißnaht im Produkt sichtbar sein.

Die Einfassung Kettelung wird nicht für hoch frequentierte Bereiche empfohlen.

PRODUKTHINWEISE RUGX Leichte Musterverzüge (bis zu 2cm) im Musterverlauf sowie leichte

Musterunregelmäßigkeiten bei geometrisch gemusterter Ware sind technisch bedingt und nicht immer auszuschließen.

Die Pure Silk / Pure Wool Teppiche sind handgewebte Unikate mit na-türlichen Unregelmäßigkeiten in Farbe und Struktur, die dem Produkt seinen einzigartigen, wertvollen Charakter geben.

Unsere Teppiche sind mit innovativen rutschhemmenden Noppen aus-gestattet, diese können im Einzelfall auf geöltem Parkett Rückstände hinterlassen. Der gelieferte RUGX ist grundsätzlich für Fußbodenhei-zung geeignet. Für eventuelle Wechselwirkungen (z.B. Verfärbungen oder Weichmacherwanderung) durch Auflegen der Produkte auf jegli-chem Unterboden übernehmen wir keinerlei Haftung.

Als Läufer genutzte RUGX können durch starke Frequentierung trotz rutschhemmender Noppen wandern und leichte Wellen bilden. Wir empfehlen diese vor Ort zusätzlich mit einem Trockenklebeband (z.B. Siga oder D-Tack) zu fixieren. Um das Wandern und die Wellenbildung bei RUGX, die auf Teppichboden liegen, zu vermeiden, ist die Ausstat-tung mit einer zusätzlichen Antirutsch-Unterlage ratsam. Beanstan-dungen dieser Art sind daher ausgeschlossen.

Every carpet from the house of OBJECT CARPET is a meticulously crafted MANUFAKTUR product. With a 2,400 gram pure silk or a 2,600 gram pure wool variant, the PURE SILK and PURE WOOL products are particularly fine collections – whether metre goods or as made-to-measure RUGX.

RUGX products are cut from high-quality metre goods and finished by hand – in other words, they are equipped with optimal properties for ma-de-to-measure carpets. The interplay between man and machine results in extraordinary precision and stability – for instance, when crafting corners, as is the case in the popular, pre-fabricated variant, in which all edges are turned down.

RUGX edge finishing, whether it be the pre-fabricated variant or banded edging, is carried out exclusively by hand in Germany.

Carpet care and cleaning are wrongly seen as difficult and not calculable in respect of costs. This misjudgement is often based on negative experience in the past caused by incorrect choice of cleaning methods and cleaning intervals or improper treatment of stains. Additionally, the selection of a suitable quality and colour setting is of a primary importance for future cleaning behaviour.

Our expert advisers will be glad to provide you with useful information to avoid such faults in cleaning. Proper care and correct treatment of the carpet flooring from the beginning helps you to preserve the carpet’s value and to save costs over the life-cycle of the object.

DIRECTIONS FOR CLEANING AND CARE Perfected technology and high-quality raw materials as well as professio-nal processing result in properties that sustainably influence the product appearance. These current directions for cleaning & care should be both instructive and helpful. First of all, there are a couple of general remarks to ensure an optimal look of your OBJECT CARPET flooring and to maintain its value for a long time.

When choosing the cleaning and care method, you have to consider ma-terial composition, carpet structure, its backing and its laying method, in order to avoid quality diminishing in the high-value textile carpet floorings.

Damage of the carpet or non-satisfactory cleaning results caused by im-proper cleaning or stain treatment will not be recognized as a customer‘s complaint or a product fault in terms of the warranty. The same applies to cases when the recommended cleaning and care intervals are not adhered to. Both basic and intensive cleaning, as well as intermediate and surface cleaning should be carried out by specialists only.

REMOVING DUST

Beyond a doubt, regular dust removal is the most important component of an optimal carpet care programme. Dust removal is intended to re-move pigment dirt from the surface and from the fabric interstices. We recommend to clean the carpet with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a smooth nozzle. Once or twice a week, clean the carpet with a powerful vacuum-cleaner with soft brush, in order to suck up pile filament which gets loose in the beginning. However, you have to pay heed to proper adjustment of the brush height, to the brush’s degree of hardness and to a systematic and thorough method of operation.

Basic prerequisite for the brush vacuum cleaner functioning is a regular maintenance, especially of brushes, filters (preferably, Micro-filters) and dust bags.

Cleaning walk-through areas: Textile floor coverings must be urgently pro-tected against dirt ingress from the beginning. Sufficiently large clean-off floor-coverings should be provided in entrance areas and on problem spots, e.g., on transient areas from granolithic floor to carpeted floor. You will achieve the best results by installing coarse and fine dirt trap mats. You will achieve the best results by installing coarse and fine dirt trap mats.

It is necessary to clean these mats every day. Otherwise, these clean-off systems may become a source of dirt themselves. This “ink pad” effect can also arise from improper use of wax-containing products for daily care of hard floors.

CLEANING WALK-THROUGH AREAS

The earlier the stain treatment the higher the chances to remove it! Deta-chur comprises locally limited treatment of stains and other contaminati-on. According to RAL 991/A3, this treatment step belongs to the everyday general routine cleaning.

If the stains are immediately treated with detergents suitable for silk and wool, they can usually be completely removed without any problems. An exception to this rule are stains with bleaching or colouring effect which cannot be completely eliminated without affecting the surface.

Small spots and stains can usually by removed with water and an absor-bent cloth made of white cotton. It is even better to do with the aid of residuals from the laid carpet. Do not rub the stain. Clean gently whilst moving from outside to inside, applying pressure. You can also use a microfibre glove as a mechanical aid.

BASIC CLEANING

For basic cleaning, we recommend spray extraction. After pre-treatment with Detachur, spray a detergent suitable for silk or wool onto the car-pet. With the aid of a spray extraction appliance, rinse out the dissolved dirt from the carpet by applying pressure and a sufficient water flow rate. Important! Never put detergents into spray extraction appliances!

• Wash out with clean water several times• Avoid soaking of the carpet• Let it dry for at least 24 hours• Do not use in floor constructions sensitive to water

Especially when removing the water, see that you equally withdraw the carpet in to the nap direction.

Suitable detergents and care products for wool & silk carpet can be orde-red, e.g., at RZ-Chemie, Dr. Schutz or Jeikner.

RUGX carpets are delivered free domicile and not unloaded within the EU.

Due to production process reasons, the RUGX carpets many deviate in their size by up to 2 per cent.

Since RUGX carpet bordering is created by valuable manual work, it is not always possible to avoid an accidental skip to the next tuft channel.

Because of the complex production technologies it is possible that the attachment weld seam is visible in the product.

Bordering with overlocking is not recommended for high-traffic areas.

PRODUCT INFORMATION RUGX Slight pattern defaults (up to 2cm) in the pattern progression and slight irregularities in items with geometric patterns are caused by technical factors and cannot always be excluded.

The Pure Silk / Pure Wool carpets are hand-woven uniques with natural irregularities in colours and structure adding an inimitable and valuab-le nature to the product.

Our carpets are provided with innovative non-slippery naps. Sometimes they might leave residues on oiled parquet floors. The supplied RUGX is basically suitable for heated floors.

Because of strong frequenting, RUGX runners might migrate and form slight waves despite anti-slip tufts. We recommend to additionally fix it in place with a dry adhesive tape (e.g. with Siga or D-Tack). To avoid migration and waves in RUGX on the carpet floors, it is recommended to use an additional anti-slip pad. Therefore, rejections on this basis will not be accepted.

L‘entretien d‘une moquette est souvent considéré, à tort, comme difficile et non calculable en termes de coûts. Ce jugement repose souvent sur des expériences négatives vécues par le passé, sur des erreurs quant au choix de la méthode de nettoyage, de la définition des intervalles entre deux nettoyages ou du traitement des taches. En outre, le choix d‘une qualité et d‘un coloris adéquats joue également un rôle prépondérant pour le comportement futur au nettoyage.

CONSIGNES D‘ENTRETIEN ET DE NETTOYAGE Des procédés éprouvés et des produits de qualité, ainsi qu‘un traitement compétent permettent d‘obtenir des résultats ayant une influence positive et durable sur l‘aspect du produit. La présente notice d‘entretien s‘entend comme une aide et un guide. Pour commencer, quelques remarques d‘or-dre général garantissant un aspect optimal et la préservation longue durée de la valeur de votre moquette OBJECT CARPET.

Pour ne pas altérer la qualité de ce revêtement textile de qualité supérieu-re, il faut faire attention à tenir compte de la composition du matériau, la construction et la partie recto de la moquette, ainsi qu‘à la méthode de pose lors de la sélection du procédé d‘entretien et de nettoyage.

Les dommages causés sur la moquette, comme par ex. des résultats de nettoyage insuffisants, par un nettoyage ou un traitement des taches ef-fectué de manière non conforme ne peuvent pas être considérés comme une réclamation par nos services et ne constituent en aucun cas un vice de la marchandise pris en charge par la garantie. Cette règle s‘applique également lorsque la procédure d‘entretien et de nettoyage décrite ci-après n‘est pas observée. Le nettoyage de fond ou intensif, ainsi que le nettoyage intermédiaire ou superficiel doivent impérativement être réalisés par une entreprise spécialisée.

DÉPOUSSIÉRAGE

Un dépoussiérage régulier représente incontestablement la composante essentielle d‘un programme d‘entretien optimal de votre moquette. Le dépoussiérage sert à détacher la protection pigmentairede la surface et dans les espaces entre le textile. Nous vous recommandons de dépoussiérer votre moquette à l‘aide d‘un aspirateur avec un embout lisse. Une à deux fois par semaine, il faut aspirer la moquette avec une aspirateur-brosse performant avec une brosse souple, pour absorber les filaments textiles qui ont tendance à se détacher de la moquette après sa pose, tout en veillant à un bon réglage de la hauteur et de la dureté de la brosse et en appliquant une méthode de travail systématique et cons-ciencieuse.

L‘une des conditions préalables au bon fonctionnement des robots d‘aspi-ration à brosse réside dans leur maintenance régulière, et notamment celle des brosses, filtres (de préférence : micro filtre) et sacs.

Toute moquette doit impérativement être protégée, dès le départ, contre la salissure en aménageant des zones de transition suffisamment grandes au niveau des entrées et des zones critiques (passage entre sol dur et re-vêtement textile). Ces zones de transition doivent impérativement être nettoyées tous les jours pour éviter qu‘elles ne deviennent une source d‘impuretés. Plus une tache sera traitée tôt, plus la probabilité de l‘éliminer sera grande! La procédure de détachage englobe le traitement localisé de taches et d‘impuretés. Cette étape de travail fait partie du nettoyage d‘entretien quotidien selon RAL 991/A3.

Si les taches sont traitées immédiatement avec des produits adaptés à la soie ou la laine, leur élimination totale ne pose généralement pas de pro-blème. Les substances avec un effet délavant ou colorant constituent tou-tefois une exception, car elles ne s‘éliminent pas sans attaquer la surface.

Les impuretés et taches de petite envergure peuvent le plus souvent s‘enle-ver avec de l‘eau tiède et un chiffon absorbant (coton blanc). L‘idéal pour absorber la saleté consiste à utiliser les chutes de la moquette posée. Lors de cette étape, il ne faut pas frotter la tache, mais l‘éliminer de l‘extérieur vers l‘intérieur en appliquant une pression. Un gant en microfibre peut également être utilisé comme aide mécanique dans ce cas.

NETTOYAGE DE FOND

Pour le nettoyage de fond, nous vous recommandons un procédé d‘injec-tion-extraction. Ce procédé consiste à pulvériser un produit de nettoyage adapté à la soie ou la laine sur la moquette après l‘étape de pré-détachage.La machine d‘injection-extraction permet ensuite d‘éliminer la saleté détachée du revêtement textile grâce à la pression et une quantité d‘eau suffisante. Important! – Ne pas ajouter de produit de nettoyage dans la machine d‘injection-extraction!

Lors de l‘élimination de l‘eau notamment, il faut veiller à toujours passer de manière régulière sur la moquette dans le sens du poil.

Les tapis RUGX sont livrés franco dans l‘UE domicile et non déchargés.

Pour des raisons techniques de production, les tapis RUGX peuvent présenter des écarts de dimensions n’excédant toutefois pas 2%.

Les bordures du tapis RUGX étant issues d’un travail artisanal de qualité, il n’est pas toujours possible d’éviter l’oubli accidentel d’une boucle de poils.

En raison du processus complexe de fabrication, la couture d’assembla-ge peut être visible, le cas échéant, dans le produit.

Les bordures en points de chaîne ne sont pas recommandées dans les endroits très fréquentés.

INFORMATIONS PRODUIT RUGX Sur les produits comportant des motifs géométriques, les faibles décalages

(n’excédant pas 2 cm) ainsi que les légères irrégularités au niveau des motifs sont dus à des raisons techniques et ne peuvent pas toujours être exclus.

Les tapis Pure Silk/Pure Wool sont des pièces uniques tissées à la main et comportant des irrégularités naturelles au niveau de la couleur et la struc-ture, qui confèrent à chaque produit son caractère singulier et remarquable.

Nos tapis sont dotés de boucles antidérapantes innovantes et ces dernières peuvent parfois laisser des résidus sur les parquets huilés. Le tapis RUGX est systématiquement adapté au chauffage au sol. Nous ne pouvons être tenus responsables d’interactions éventuelles (p. ex. changement de couleur ou migration de plastifiants) en cas de pose des produits sur n’importe quelle sorte de sol.

Les tapis RUGX placés dans les lieux très fréquentés peuvent bouger et former des vagues malgré les boucles antidérapantes. Nous recomman-dons de les fixer par ailleurs avec une bande adhésive rigide (p. ex. Siga ou D-Tack). Pour empêcher un tapis RUGX posé sur une moquette de migrer et former des vagues, il est conseillé d’ajouter un support an-tidérapant. Les réclamations y afférentes ne seront pas recevables.
