Instructional Plan Outline: Preparation1. Instructor sends e-mail with a hyperlink to Thinglink.com and another to the Blendspace curation of resources out to the teacher participants.

2. Teacher Participants log into computers and on to website through link provided.Motivation(10 min.)1. Instructor posts the lesson objectives on the SmartBoard.2. Instructor asks how many teacher participants are familiar with ThingLink? Instructor explains that it is an online curation tool.

3. Instructor shows an example of a ThingLink curation about Georgia authors.Presentation(20 min.)1. Instructor shows another example of a ThingLink curation, this time more slowly and pointing out the variety of resources featured in the curation.2. Teacher participants spend 10 minutes exploring the Blendspace resources about ThingLink.

3. Instructor shows ThingLink Tutorial video to demonstrate the ease of creation using the tool.Modeling and Guided Practice (10 min.) 1. Instructor repeats the demonstration of ease of construction on Thinglinklive. Teacher participants watch, or repeat the instructors steps, as he demonstrates. Instructor helps as teacher-participants explore the options of ThingLink.Closure / Sharing and Reflection (5 min.) 1. Teacher participants share their opinions about the usefulness of ThingLink and about possible uses for current and future lessons that they teach collaboratively. Teacher participants choose the topics for ThingLinks that each will create and share at the next weeks collaborative planning session.
