APNA/Health Professionals Bank Workforce Survey
APNA has conducted annual national workforce surveys since 2004, with the aim of equipping nurses working in primary health care with information on the workforce conditions of their profession.
The APNA Workforce Survey is the only workforce survey exclusively designed for Australian primary health care nurses. The results help us benchmark and understand the conditions and workplace issues that affect workforce. Analysis of the results help develop evidence-based policy and programs which will increase recognition of the profession.
This year we heard from 2,052 primary health care nurses across the country. APNA is so grateful to those nurses who took the time to fill this survey. This report is a collation of their voices.
