This session will review the latest trends in evidence-based prevention, and management of periodontal disease. Itwill provide an overall perspective of an integrated team-based approach, with particular reference to dentaltherapists, and discuss if there are gaps in our evidence-based practice which impact on the delivery of optimisedprevention and care.

This session will discuss the current issues facing dental professionals in the treatment of caries amongst children, andattempt to highlight future ways forward for treatment both in the UK and worldwide.

This session will explore the aetiology of tooth wear. It will also give delegates an insight and greater understandingof the role of erosion in the aetiology of dentine hypersensitivity.
