Cut-to-length line QTAR 125
The cut-to-length line QTAR 125 is provided with
an extensive set of standard equipment, i.e.:
• stainless steel feed table with a fixed and an
adjustable guide for continuous width
adjustment and an integrated overrun roller
• Ball bearings on the side guides of the intake stops
for low-wear strip intake
• Precise continuously adjustable intake width
from 200 – 1,250 mm
• Strip intake, low-wear with specially coated feed rolls
for a max. 5,000 kg when using a decoiler that
is not motorised.

To perfectly, quickly and easily cut parallel, diagonal and
trapezoidal metal sheets to size that are supplied by a the coil
or a the shear. A user-friendly PLC determines the setting of
the special cutting head and the cross-cut shear. When the
material is fed the cutting head moves in accordance with
the preselected angle. Roller knifes trim the edges of the ma-
terial to ensure the flexibility of the system. The width of the
infeed is infinitely variable up to 1.250 mm.

The cut-to-length line QA 55 is used on profiled panels.
Equipped with a motorised feeder for the saw,
adjustable cutting depth, adjustable depth limit stop,
pneumatically operated clamping device and an
adjustable mitre from 0-55° the cut-to-length line is

Available options:A universal machine that caters for the requirements of
first-time users or builders. The profile shaping machine
EPM 25 is an ideal choice for short, conical or pointed
panels. Since the machine produces single-sided profiles
the panels are quickly shaped in two operations that do
not require width adjustments.

for parallel processing range from 220 to 810 mm. For
single-sided processing of slanted, conical or locating
panels sheets can be manufactured with axial di-

For optimum performance and continuous operation we use the units of the profile shaping machine SPM-LM-HYT / PMC-LM-
HYT or The automatic profiler SPA / PAC. The machines are employed for panel lengths from 100 mm.

Automatic profiler SPA I PAC on the basis of the SPM or the PMC
The lay direction of the panels determines whether cutting and profile shaping
occurs from narrow to wide or from wide to narrow plate widths. The maximum
slitting angle is limited to 3°. The intake width is adjustable from 300 – 800 mm.
A special version caters for a profile height of 32 mm and/or an intake width of
1,000 mm.

Foil laminating machine FBM
To bond acoustical barriers or insulating film as well as felt rolls
to the plates during the profile shaping operation.
The foil laminating machine is bolted to a Schlebach profile
shaping machine, model SPM/PMC/SPA/PAC/Quadro. The ma-
terial to be bonded is clamped on an internal mandrel. Precise
decoiling and straight-line bonding is maintained by a band-
edge controller.
The protective film is removed and wound up during the profile
shaping operation. The material to be bonded is attached to the
bottom of the strip at the same time.

Notching unit AK-QUAD
Electro hydraulic operation, for mounting on the QUADRO profile shaping machine. The
notching unit is installed in front of the QUADRO profile shaping machine. The notching
operation is programmed into the controller of the profile shaping system and included in
the production process. Tool supports are mounted on a flanged unit with a hydraulic sub-
assembly that is connected to the QUADRO controller. The basic configuration contains a
tool set to notch Sofit panels (reveal panels). Tool sets are available and may be exchanged
for other, specified forms and profiles. Tool sets can be produced in accordance with
customer requirements. For special notching processes the AK-QUAD can also be operated
as a stand-alone notching machine. With the appropriate tool sets, applications range from
rhombuses, shingles or coffered roof slabs.
Profile shaping system QUADRO-KS
The profile shaping system QUADRO-KS has all the features of the QUADRO system. The unit
uses the same cartridges to produce the desired profiles. This system is equipped with a
slitter for longitudinal cuts. The adjustable side of the machine can be set to the angle re-
quired for slanted panels or standing seam sheets. The required angle is calculated by means
of the touch-panel. For this purpose the 3 dimensions of the plate are required, i.e. narrow
- wide - long. Irrespective of the form of the profile, a single operation feeds the strip, cuts
it obliquely and shapes the profile.
Quadro roof profiles with profiled surface
A special profile shaping system in combination with the QUADRO can produce different
forms of surface profiling to stabilise the surfaces for increased rafter distances.
Oblique cutting machine STA
The STA is mounted in the out-feed area of the QUADRO. Profiled strips that were previously
notched by an AKQUAD in the profile area may be cut at angles ranging from -60° to +60°
When the profiled and notched strip reaches the programmed final position, the table is
manually tilted to the respective angle and the profiled strip is clamped by means of the
manually operated hold-down. Next the strip is cut with a manually operated roller shear.
Oblique cutting machine STA-M
Same construction as the basic machine STA, however, this is equipped with
a motorised roller shear.

To produce arched profile panels from double standing
seam profiles for use as dormers, round arches, domes,
barrel-vault roofs, etc. for adjustable radii, starting from a
radius of 300 mm, depending on material. Equipped with
an infinitely variable speed controller for 0 - 12 m/min this
may be used to produce a variety of radii. Separately
powered bending units for upper and the lower folds. This
may be used to control the operating speed.
Leading plates with 2 underfolds can be shaped in a single
operation.
The infinitely variable width adjustment ranging from
300 - 800 mm is geared to match the manufacturing capa-
bilities of the standing seam profiles produced by the Mini-
Prof, SPM 30/80, PMC and Quadro.
The RBM may also be used for other profile heights
of 25 - 40 mm by replacing pressure rollers.

The round arch moulding machine RBM 50 is used to shape profile panels from double stan-
ding seam profile material with a profile height of 50-mm. Applications include dormers, round
arcs, domes or barrel-vault roofs. A table provides the respective contact pressure, depending
on the radius, and it is entered via the operating panel. Motors generate the selected pressure.
The feed speed is adjusted by means of a speed regulator.. Separately powered bending units
for upper and the lower folds. Differently shaped profiles are available by exchanging rollers.

The machine is equipped with segment rails in the upper
beam, bending beam and the supporting table. For this
reason, it is also possible to fold back rhombic plates and
shingles (see sketch), for mirrored covering and coffered
roof slabs.
Working widths may vary from 300 - 800 mm, the not-
ching and fold back width and angle (inwards and out-
wards) are adjustable.

The electro-hydraulic notching unit EHA is used to
mechanically produce round notching in double stan-
ding seam profiles to prepare them for assembly. These
are used as lower and upper fold ends on roofs,
dormers, facades and balustrades with different
centres of gravity like eaves and roofing joints, flues,
mono-pitched roofs, facades bases, pelmets, verges,
lintels, etc. Parallel, oblique or conical plates may also
be notched.

A hot air blower ensures that seams can be produced during the winter
months. For this purpose the device is attached to the seaming machine. A
controller is used to select the required temperature.
A special jet limits the required working area. Existing seaming machines
