PROFInet – Current Status

Specification work for PROFInet stage 1 is ready for review; specification is published, www.profibus.com.

PROFInet will be implemented and tested for Windows and Vx Works systems

The companies of the core team are currently integrating PROFInet into the first pilot products.

PROFInet will be shown in a multi-vendor presentation at the Hanover trade fair 2001.
