Page 1 of 2 ProGear Bardahl High Quality Mineral-Based Industrial Gear Oil DESCRIPTION Bardahl ProGear oils are extreme-pressure type industrial gear lubricants, which contain sulphur-phosphorus compounds that have better thermal stability, and higher oxidation resistance as compared to conventional lead-naphthenate gear oils. These oils exhibit good demulsibility, low foaming tendency and provide effective rust and corrosion protection to metal surfaces. ProGear Industrial gear oils are recommended for all heavy-duty enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication system and operating under heavy or shock load conditions up to 110 °C. However, for worm gears, the bulk oil temperature is usually restricted at 95 °C. Other typical applications include gear sets, and oil circulating systems in steel mills, foundries, injection moulding machines, paper mills, electrical wheel motors used in surface mining and quarries, cement kilns, petroleum and chemical processing plants. Bardahl ProGear Oils are available in a wide range of viscosity grades for specific applications. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS DIN 51 517 Part 3 (CLP) AGMA 9005-E02 (replacement for 250.04) US Steel 224 David Brown S1.53.101 FEATURES High resistance to oxidation gives long oil service life and thus extended drain capability Outstanding wear protection means longer equipment life Superior deposit control – cleaner gear system Reduce galling, scuffing and welding of gear teeth due to excellent load-carrying capacity Rapid water separation Superior foam control in service Protect against rust and corrosion APPLICATIONS Recommended for use in severe service enclosed gear sets in many industrial applications These oils can also be used for plain and roller bearings, sliding surfaces, chain drives and flexible couplings employing splash or circulation lubrication systems and requiring an EP type oil

ProGear Bardahl High Quality Mineral-Based Industrial Gear Oil DESCRIPTION

Bardahl ProGear oils are extreme-pressure type industrial gear lubricants, which contain sulphur-phosphorus compounds that have better thermal stability, and higher oxidation resistance as compared to conventional lead-naphthenate gear oils.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS DIN 51 517 Part 3 (CLP) AGMA 9005-E02 (replacement for 250.04) US Steel 224 David Brown S1.53.101

FEATURES • High resistance to oxidation gives long oil service life and thus extended drain capability • Outstanding wear protection means longer equipment life • Superior deposit control – cleaner gear system • Reduce galling, scuffing and welding of gear teeth due to excellent load-carrying capacity • Rapid water separation • Superior foam control in service • Protect against rust and corrosion

APPLICATIONS • Recommended for use in severe service enclosed gear sets in many industrial applications • These oils can also be used for plain and roller bearings, sliding surfaces, chain drives and

flexible couplings employing splash or circulation lubrication systems and requiring an EP type oil
