Message from the Chief ScriptwriterDon't let the term "Chief Scriptwriter" fool you. The writing of this year's
FASS script was very much a communal effort over which I played only asupervisory role. Many people are responsible for the successful creation of"Alice in Wonderloo" and the ones who put the most time and effort into it arelisted as writers, Countless others donated ideas or jokes, but there wasn'tenough room in the program to list everyone. However, /would like to take thisopportunity to thank everyone who came out to the brainstorming sessions, allthe people who wrote scenes or songs, and especially those who suffered throughgrueling editing sessions. Their efforts made my job a lot easier and resulted ina script that Lewis Carroll would have been proud of.
— Marney Heatley

noticeYou can't smoke in the theatre because the fire
marshal doesn't want to be responsible if you get lung 1cancer. You can't eat or drink refreshments in thetheatre because the theatre management doesn't want •
to contribute to anyone's obesity. You can't usecameras during the performance because our actors arealready over-exposed. (Besides, the censor boarddoesn't permit flashing in the audience.) You can't usea tape-recorder either; the script is copyrighted by thepeople we stole it from. Thank you for observingthese rules, Violators will be sliced, diced, and fed tothe Jabberwock.
