Monitoring Visit Results
Data Obtained from the December 20, 2011 Bureau of Prisons Full Monitoring Results
The Program received its Full Monitoring from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Philadelphia Office, on December 5-7th, 2011.
During that monitoring, the Program adequately addressed and corrected 1 out of the 2 deficiencies from its September Interim Monitoring.
Deficiencies Found: Non-probationary staff members are required to receive 20 hours of annual refresher training. There were also some missing employee reviews.
BOP noted several strengths in the program including new televisions in the living room, new washer/dryer, new carpeting in the living room and recreational room, and McGrath employment was at 86% at the time of the monitoring!
BOP noted the commitment demonstrated by program staff during the recent transition of management and the improvements in the discipline and case management work within the program.
BOP also noted their excitement with the ideas and experience the new program management had to better serve the clients in their care.
