* Divided into three types
i. Question 11-13 (03 marks)
- 3 situational pictures with incompletedialogues given
- 7 optional answers given (with brackets)
- fill in brackets with the number of the
picture that you think is perfect with the
answer
- to test Social Expressions skills

SECTION B (PRE-WRITING)Dissection : Question 11-13
a) Each picture shows different situation.
b) Must have speech bubbles (at least 2),
one blank.
c) Each picture numbered (11,12,13)d) 7 optional answers are given usually in
sentence forms (questions, suggestions,preference, argument,etc)
e) Each answer comes with a blank bracketat the end. The bracket is to be filledwith your chosen answers.

b) Study pictures carefully for clues
c) Check which speech bubble is the 1st
speakerd) Look out for common traps eg. if there
is a policeman in the picture, it doesnthave to have the word policeman in the
answers givene) No need to write in speech

b) Must have speech bubbles (at least 2)
c) Each dialogue numbered (14,15)
d) 6 optional answers are given usually inword forms (usually certain specific topic)
e) Each answer comes with a blank bracket
at the end. The bracket is to be filled
with your chosen answers.

- 1 incomplete passage given (usually textdescribing events from the picture shown)
- 5 blanks to replace missing words in the
passage
- Each blank are numbered
- Pupils must write in blanks with
correct/suitable words

a) Picture shows specific situation (eg. Anaccident
b) Paragraph has 5 blanks. Each blanksconsist of1 wordonly

d) Missing words are from differentcategories (eg. Nouns, Tenses, Adverbs,etc.)
e) Answers written must be accurate inusage, spelling, structure (nomarkah kesian)

Suggested Tips : Question 16-20a) Study pictures shown carefully
b) Read and understand the whole text given
c) Confirm which tenses are used for the
whole text
d) Look for words in the exam paper for help
e) Be careful of BM-spelling words (eg. clinic,
ambulance, restaurant, etc.), words thatsounds similar (eg. for & four, etc.) and
tenses.

b) Try to like the items being given (helps
you to understand the details given..noproblem with food though!)
c) Underline the details when you are filling
in the blank columns (to avoid mistake)
