Denmark as a data center location offers a range of unique advantages. A stable power supply, lots of green energy, a great infrastructure and a state- of the art district-heating system which supports heat recycling.

Apple, Facebook and Google have already made substantial hyperscale data center investments and there are plenty of suitable sites available. With the subsea cable connecting the USA directly with Denmark coming into effect in 2019, there is even more opportunity for the colocation sector to flourish.

The Danish Data Center Industry (DDI) is the industry body representing the Danish data center ecosystem and was born out of the want to make it easier for operators to do business with Denmark. To date, both the private and the public sector in Denmark have very well received DDI with an ever-growing member community.

DDI creates an environment of open dialogue for all, where members connect, exchange and form partnerships with companies that have a business focus on Denmark.

OUR MEMBERSAs the industry association, we represent the interests of the private sector, municipalities and utility companies operating within the data center supply chain. Together we work to meet the needs of the data center industry by highlighting our suppliers, influencing regulations, improving competencies and sharing knowledge.

Our members reflect the high-caliber data center supply network in Denmark and the strong corporation between the public and private sector.

An executive membership provides the highest level of in-fluence and brand promotion.

We recommend this member-ship to companies with a direct solution, product or service ready to meet the needs of future Danish data center projects.

A Business membership provides access to the network as well as a smaller amount of brand promotion. We recom-mend this membership level for businesses entering the industry, who merely wants to be kept-in-the-loop.

If you operate enterprise or hyperscale data centers, sign up for the operator category, where you will get the latest industry insights, access to workshops, training courses and events through our partner networks.
