Carrera:

August Bruguera completa su formación realizando estancias en laboratorios privados de Alemania, Italia, y Suiza. Es socio de honor de ACADEN. Es autor de diversos artículos publicados en revistas especializadas nacional e internacional. Dictante de cursos y conferencias en congresos nacionales e internacionales.

Además, es miembro del comité editorial de la revista Dental Dialogue edición española. Miembro del comité editorial de la revista brasileña “Estética”. Es autor del libro” Sombras, un mundo de color.” Y también es autor junto conl Dr. Sidney Kina del libro “Invisible, restauraciones cerámicas”.

Profesor durante los años 1999 a 2002 del postgrado del Dr. Tomas Escuín, de la Universidad de Barcelona, ganó el Bisturí de oro 2003.

Director del laboratorio August Bruguera sito en la ciudad de Barcelona. Propietario del centro de cursos “Dental Training Center Barcelona”.

Carrer:

August Bruguera trained as a dental technician and received further training at private dental laboratories in various European countries. He is a honorary member of ACADEN. He is the author of various specialist articles, which have appeared in international magazines. He also gives lectures at international meetings and congresses.

In addition, he is a member of the editorial board of “Dental Dialogue” (Spanish issue) as well as of the magazine “Estética”. Moreover, he is the author of the textbook “Shades – a world of colours” and “Invisible, restauraciones cerámicas” (with Dr. Sidney Kina).

Between 1999 and 2002, August Bruguera worked at the University of Barcelona as a professor in the postgraduate program of Dr. Tomás Escuín. In 2003, he received the “Bisturí de oro” award.

August Bruguera is the head of the dental lab August Bruguera and “Dental Training Center by August Bruguera”.

Objetivos: Cada vez las exigencias de los pacientes son mayores

y cuando se trata de pacientes con decoloraciones

severas aún más. En este curso analizaremos las

distintas posibilidades que tenemos para realizar este

tipo de restauraciones.

• Analizar cuando es posible y bajo qué condiciones

aclarar un color.

• Aclarar un color no es complicado, lo complicado es

hacerlo con poco espacio y obteniendo un resultado

natural.

Objectives: We find that every time the patient’s aesthetic demands

el 100% del color de la preparación.

• En la segunda lo haremos en un 80%.

Obteniendo en ambos casos colores claros y

translúcidos, evitando así la típica opacidad resultante

del opacado tradicional.

inyectada versus a las carillas sobre revestimiento. En

la actualidad, con el amplio abanico de posibilidades

que éstas nos ofrecen, podemos solucionar con éxito

cualquier situación.

Objectives: The pressed ceramic has been a fundamental tool in

esthetic dentistry today. At first it was used as material

to restore with crowns but was quickly implemented for

veneers. Today with the wide range of possibilities that

these offer us, we can successfully resolve any situation

so many people are happy to perform veneers in pres-

sed ceramics over the ones on coating and have the

same success.

• When should we make a pressed veneer and when on

coating.

• What kind of preparations.

33 Objetivos: Cuando nos enfrentamos a una rehabilitación

implantosoportada tenemos el reto de restaurar la zona

gingival. Debido a nuestro poco hábito, reproducir los

colores y matices que presenta la encía natural se nos

antoja uno de los trabajos más complejos. En este curso

vamos a dar solución a este tipo de restauraciones

gingivales y para ello realizaremos un grupo anterior

sobre una estructura metálica. Al mismo tiempo daremos

solución a un problema que nos estamos encontrando

últimamente debido a las exigencias estéticas de

nuestros pacientes: cómo conseguir colores mucho más

blancos que un A1 y que tengan un aspecto natural.

• Conceptos estéticos fundamentales.

• Discutir y aclarar conceptos sobre los posibles

materiales restauradores para este tipo de prótesis:

· Metal versus zirconio.

· Cerámica versus composite.

• Diseño de la estructura interna.

• Estratificación de colores “Bleach”.

• Pulido y brillo mecánico sin stains externos.

Objectives: Many times when we face an implant-supported

rehabilitation, we are challenged to restore the gingival

zone. Because our slightly habit, reproduce colors and

shades that naturally presents the gum seems to us

one of the most complex jobs for lab technician. In this

course we will solve this type of gingival restorations

and for that we will perform an anterior group

implantsupported on a metal frame. At the same time

we will give a solution to a problem we’re finding lately

due to the aesthetic demands of our patients: how to

get white colors more than an A1 with a natural looking.

• Fundamental aesthetic concepts.

• Discuss and clarify concepts about possible restorative

materials for this type of prosthesis:

· Metal versus zirconium.

· Ceramic versus composite.

“Consolida la técnica de restauración gingival / Consolidate gingival restoration technique”

35 Contenido del curso: Para desarrollar el temario, el curso constará de dos

partes: una primera teórica y una segunda práctica.

En la parte práctica, se realizará un grupo anterior

donde restauraremos la estética blanca y rosa:

• Realizaremos una estratificación (usando 10 u 11

masas cerámicas) de un grupo anterior en base a un

color bleach. Con el objetivo de conseguir resultados

satisfactorios utilizando dentinas muy luminosas.

• Consolidaremos el manejo de cerámica rosa

completando la parte gingival y usando para ello un

ejemplo natural.

Course content: To develop the agenda, the course will consist of two

parts: the first theoretical followed by a practical one.

In the practical part, we will perform an anterior group

which will restore white and pink aesthetics:

• We will do a layering (using 10 or 11 ceramic mass) of

37 Objetivos: La finalidad de este Curso es proporcionar los protocolos

necesarios y establecer una forma de trabajo que nos

permita predecir unos resultados altamente estéticos en

nuestras rehabilitaciones. En el mundo actual de pacientes

muy exigentes a nivel estético no se puede olvidar la

importancia de conseguir resultados predecibles que

satisfagan al paciente y al clínico.

De forma sorprendente, muchos clínicos deciden delegar

en sus protésicos los resultados estéticos de sus pacientes

y este resultado, a menudo, no suele satisfacer las

expectativas de los primeros.

Una estrategia adecuada para disminuir estas “derrotas”

Objectives: The purpose of this course is to provide the necessary

protocols and establish a way of working that allows us

to predict highly esthetic results in our restorations. In

today’s world with very aesthetically demanding patients

we can’t forget the importance of achieving predictable

results that satisfy both the patient and the clinician.

Surprisingly, many clinicians decide to delegate to his

prosthetic the aesthetic outcomes for their patients and

the results often do not usually meet the expectations

of the former. An adequate strategy to reduce these

“losses or failures” in aesthetic is to dedicate enough

time to the patients and explaining carefully and show

de forma minuciosa la resolución estética de nuestros

pacientes, pero quizás no prestamos la misma atención

a lo que subyace debajo de ésta. En este curso intensivo

de cerámica tendremos como objetivo asimilar los

conceptos necesarios para planificar y realizar paso

a paso una rehabilitación estética utilizando todas

las posibles técnicas de las que disponemos en la

actualidad, así como de los distintos materiales (técnica

de capas, maquillaje y mixta). Esto se hará de una forma

clara y con una metodología que nos dará resultados

predecibles y altamente satisfactorios en cualquier

situación, pudiéndose implementar de forma rápida en

los protocolos de nuestros laboratorios con la intención

de aumentar la calidad de nuestro producto sin tener

que bajar nuestra producción. Cada parte del contenido

62 Contenido del curso:

• Preparaciones clínicas: Analizaremos qué tipo de preparación es la más aconsejable, dónde están los puntos críticos de éstas y cómo deben ser controlados. Tanto en pilares para coronas, como en carillas.

• Impresiones: Se verán que tipo de cubeta de impresión es la más recomendable para cada caso, así como materiales de impresión y técnicas de impresión. Qué es lo que realmente podemos controlar nosotros y qué le tocaría al clínico.

• Encerado diagnóstico, mock up y provisionales: Analizaremos cual es el procedimiento “paso a paso” más adecuado cuando hemos de generar un encerado diagnóstico de una rehabilitación superior. Qué información nos debe aportar el clínico y cómo debemos interpretarla. Veremos cuándo es posible realizar un “mock up” y cuáles son las distintas técnicas para conseguirlo. Una vez obtenido el encerado diagnóstico trasladaremos la información obtenida a un provisional estético y funcional.

• Toma de color: Se tomará el color de un incisivo central de uno de los cursillistas analizando el color dentinario, características de color y translucidez de esmalte.

• Cerámica: Una vez tengamos las estructuras y los modelos para carillas, analizaremos la aplicación del zirliner, el wash de las estructuras de cerámica

inyectada (qué técnica y con qué masa), los hombros de porcelana (cuando, cuánto, y con que color)... para finalizar con la estratificación cerámica en base a un color standard. Para ello veremos los distintos tipos de estratificación posibles y cuales son las premisas para que independientemente del tipo de estratificación escogido consigamos resultados 100% naturales:

· Técnica de maquillajes.

· Técnica de reducción incisal.

· Técnica de cocción intermedia.

· Técnica de estratificación completa a una sola cocción.

Finalizaremos con una técnica sencilla para reproducir las pequeñas características de morfología, superficie y brillo.

• Pulido y preparación de la parte interna de las estructuras: Veremos cómo hemos de terminar el final de preparación y cómo tratar la parte interna de las estructuras para dejarlas en perfectas condiciones para su cementación, tanto en estructuras metálicas, de Zr o de cerámica inyectada y carillas. Todo el curso se realizará en modelos de escayola y resina epóxica siendo este último nuestro modelo control donde comprobaremos el correcto asentamiento de los perfiles de emergencia y los ajustes marginales. Todos los protocolos de trabajo serán detallados según la técnica de ceramización empleada.

• Clinics preparations: Analyze what kind of preparation is the most advisable, where the critical points are and how they should be controlled. In abutments for crowns or on veneers.

• Prints: It will be seen what kind of impression tray is the most suitable for each case as well as printing materials and techniques. What is really that we can control and that it would be handled by the clinician.

• Diagnostic wax, mock up and provisional: We will analyze, what is the most appropriate procedure “step by step” when we have to generate a diagnostic wax on superior rehabilitation. Information that will be supplied by the clinician and how we interpret it. We will see if it is possible to perform a “mock up” and what are the different techniques to achieve this. • Ceramics: Once we have the structures and models for veneers, will discuss the application of zir liner, the wash of pressed ceramic structures (which technique and which mass), porcelain shoulders (when, how much and what color). .. to finish with ceramic layering

based on a standard color. To do this we will see the different types of layering possible and what are the premises for whatever type chosen get 100% natural results:

· Staining technique.

· Incisal-reduction technique.

· Intermediate-firing technique.

· Full-layering technique to a single cooking.

Will finish with a simple technique to reproduce small features of morphologies and surface brightness.

• Polishing and preparation of the inner part of the structures: We’ll see how we end the final preparation as treat the inside of the structures to be left in perfect condition for cementing both Zr metal structures or injected ceramic and veneers. The entire course will be performed on plaster and epoxy resin models being this last our control model where we will check the correct positioning of the emergence profiles and marginal adjustments. All work protocols will be detailed according to the layering technique used.

Javier Tapia Guadix nació en 1978 en Madrid, España. Licendiacdo en odontología en la Universidad Europea de Madrid en 2003.

Recibió la Placa al Mérito Colegial por el Ilustre Colegio de Odontólogos y Estomatólogos de la I Región en 2005, por su colaboración en la comisión de nuevas tecnologías. En 2011 fundó, junto con Panaghiotis Bazos y Gianfranco Politano, el grupo internacional Bio-Emulation.

Colabora activamente con diversas universidades en toda Europa y es miembro del GC Restorative Advisory. Es un dictante internacional con participación en numerosos congresos y cursos teórico-prácticos así como cursos con pacientes en directo.

Nondas Vlachopoulos was born in Toronto, Canada. After moving to Greece, he graduated from the school of dental technology in 1985. He then acquired a BSc Hons from the School of Dental Technology of the Technological Educational Institution of Athens (1989). In 1990, he established his own dental laboratory “AestheticLab” in Athens. Since 2001, Mr. Vlachopoulos has been Opinion Leader for Ivoclar Vivadent, Noritake Dental and MPF Brush Co. in Greece. Since May 2014 he is an editorial reviewer at the AACD’s Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry (jCD). Mr. Vlachopoulos specializes in aesthetic all-ceramic and implant restorations and collaborates with the Dental School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and its postgraduate programs of Dental Prosthodontics and Dental Surgery. Mr. Vlachopoulos has organized many seminars in Greece, USA, South America and many counties within the European Union. He has participated with presentations in congresses, and he has also published articles in Greek and foreign Dental Technology journals. Objetivos: “From macro to micro” o “Desde el macro a lo micro’’ es un curso vivencial de fotografía para Odontólogos y Protésicos dentales, tiene una duración de 16 horas distribuidas en dos días, el objetivo es que el participante comprenda:

• Como la modificación y la dirección de la luz logra y varía el registro fotográfico de las formas, de los tejidos duros y blandos.

• Seleccionar y adaptar equipo fotográfico de bajo coste para obtener imágenes de alta definición.

• Registrar con calidad de estudio el rostro en modo de retrato clínico y artístico, la sonrisa y los labios.

• Registrar los efectos ópticos de los tejidos duros y la textura de los tejidos blandos en macro y microfotografía.

• Valorizar el trabajo de laboratorio fotografiando elementos protésicos de metal y cerámica con calidad de estudio.

El curso está dirigido a todos los niveles, desde el básico hasta el avanzado y es por ello que tiene una duración de 2 días.

Ha sido llevado con éxito en más de 11 países de América, Europa y Eurasia por participantes que utilizan la fotografía como herramienta para educar.

RESERVA DE PLAZA

2. En caso que el pago no se complete, el participante perderá su plaza en el curso y recibirá un vale descuento para futuros cursos durante un año.

POLÍTICA DE CANCELACIÓN

Todas las cancelaciones deberán ser remitidas por escrito a través del correo electrónico [email protected]. Los cursos gestionados por Enseña son de alto nivel y con un número de plazas muy limitado.

1. Las cancelaciones recibidas hasta 30 días antes de la fecha de inicio del curso tendrán derecho a la devolución del importe pagado del curso menos un 10% por gastos de gestión.

2. Las cancelaciones recibidas hasta 15 días antes de la fecha de inicio del curso tendrán derecho a la devolución del 50% del importe total del curso y se ofrecerá en forma de vale descuento para futuros cursos durante un año.

3. Las cancelaciones recibidas con menos de 15 días de antelación al inicio del curso no dan derecho a reembolso.
