SHORTCOMINGS

⚫ The tentative was not clearly brief by pm.

⚫ Both of PC were new to this program

⚫ Not enough ingredient for catering bureau and it is limited

⚫ Not enough committee for catering bureau.

⚫ The tools of cooking is limited

⚫ Name of the group for module slot should be the character of cartoon, however, the

kids did not know much about cartoon.

⚫ For module 2, it should starts at 11AM, however, due late ends during Ensino, it

affects for module to start the slot.

⚫ The Media committees did not really expert in media so they have to setting the

camera first and stuff before taking pictures.

⚫ Preptech forgot to bring the charger of tango (portable pa system of JASA) to the

programme, so it could not be used for the second day.

⚫ Coming to the school in the afternoon is not suitable as the weather was super-hot.

Therefore, all committees were very hard to adapt with the environment.

⚫ Not providing prizes (e.g. hamper or snacks) for all groups of the students for

explorace slot. Even though there is Annual Cup (Piala Pusingan)

SOLUTIONS

⚫ Everything meeting with pm and pm must be updated to pc so that pc knows about

the program venue.

⚫ Recruit one new committee and one old committee

⚫ Prepare the ingredient sufficiently based on the number of the students and

committee

⚫ Need more recruitment of catering's committee need to provide the thing to cook

sufficiently such many bowl,blender,spatula

⚫ Change the theme name for the group to flower’s theme instead of cartoon.

⚫ Put at least one person who is expert in this bureau so we can avoid wasting time just

to setting the camera

⚫ Was just relying on the CPD pa system. In the future, will need to always remember

all the stuff that needed to be brought.

⚫ We should provide them at least simple prizes, so that students will enjoy and run the

game more excitedly and students will feel their efforts are rewarded.

Page 9: PROGRAMME REPORT filesome energizer activity and after the energizer, facilitator asked the kids to do “tepuk-tepuk” to attract their attention for 3 minutes. Then, facilitator

SUGGESTIONS

⚫ Early briefing for PC for tentative and venue for each slot

⚫ Depart early to the program venue

⚫ Need to give more budget to the catering committee to buy ingredients

⚫ Add committee for Catering bureau.

⚫ Facilitator should give command to facilitator to enter the group clearly.

⚫ Everyone in the team should get the task to be the person in charge (PIC) during the

module’s slot.

⚫ Ensino’s team should teach the facilitators earlier regarding the subject that we want

to teach. Some facilitators are not really prepared to teach.

⚫ Explain first what actually should we do under this bureau because sometimes there

is new person who does not have experience in media bureau

⚫ Time management need to be improved.

⚫ Come to the school earlier is better as we can do more preparation and adapt to the

super-hot weather better even though the activities with the students are not start yet.

⚫ We should provide them at least simple prizes, so that students will enjoy and run the

game more excitedly and students will feel their efforts are rewarded.

⚫ Always check JASA Database in JASA Mobile Apps in order to check the location of

the materials need to be brought in OR

⚫ The punctuality of the committees need to be improved (not mentioning this as a

whole)

CONCLUSION

The objectives of Ensino Series III were successfully achieved with all the

supports and efforts from all the committees and facilitators who were willingly to

participate in this programme. JASA’s Ensino Series III had taught all the committees on

the way to interact with the aboriginal students, managing the activities smoothly,

encouraged the students to study harder and so on. Besides, the students had become

much more comfortable with all the committees and facilitators and made the bonds

between us and the students became stronger as JASA was sussessfully conducted two

series of Ensino this year. Thus, we truly hope the knowledge and experience that had

been gained in this programme will benefits us and especially the students in the future.

We also hope that the next series of Ensino in SK (A) Kemandol will bring more benefits

and improvement towards the students and JASA members.
