SERIES FOR LITTLE ONES Onederful Ones Mondays, January 22 – February 26, 9:30 a.m. (no class 2/19) Thursdays, January 18 – March 1, 9:30 a.m. Ages 12-24 months with a caregiver. A fun-filled half-hour featuring books, fingerplays, and lots of music and movement. No registration required. Please attend only one class per week. Baby Sign Language Thursdays, January 18 – March 1, 10:30 a.m. Join retired ASD teacher Kim Silva for baby signs vocabulary, songs, nursery rhymes, and resources for children and their caregivers. Sonya Kix, American Sign Language interpreter, will join us to enhance our communication. Children ages birth to 3, their caregivers, and expectant parents are welcome. Please register. FOR OLDER KIDS Make It and Take It Elementary Tuesdays, January 16 – February 27, 5:00 p.m. Ages 4 and up. Learn about creative problem-solving and the point-of-departure process. Explore art principles, elements, and new techniques with hands-on art projects. Please register. Part art show, part science project, the i2i challenge is an exciting way to explore nature while working on creative and critical thinking. Sponsored by the Talcott Mountain Sci-ence Center and the New Britain Museum of American Art, we will examine the question “How do we clean up the ocean floor from pollution?” Join us for the month of January to explore and research nature, art, and science.
