MPM series melting point measuring units For measuring the melting point of pulverulent substances in glass capillaries.

MPM-HV 3 semi-automatic/fully automatic multi-function unit For testing one sample. Choice of two measuring procedures (visual or automatic). Fully automatic measurement: set the required temperature (approx. 3 °C below the expected melting point). Once the preselected temperature is reached, a fi lled capillary is inserted.

MPM-H 3 semi-automatic unit For testing a maximum of three samples at the same time.Semi-automatic melting point measuring unit. Once the preselected temperature is reached, a fi lled capillary is inserted and a visual inspection of the capillary is performed using the magnifi er. After the "Start" button is pressed again, the unit continues to heat up at a rate of 1 °C/min. As soon as the sample has melted, the fi nal value is shown on the display.
