PROJECT CATALYST GROWERS FORUM | 2015 | Leading farmers show the way 2015 SPONSORSHIP INVITATION We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to be involved in the Project Catalyst Forum 2015, one of Queensland’s leading agricultural innovation events. Project Catalyst is a unique platform that brings together more than 150 sugar producers and industry representatives from Australia’s major areas of production - Mackay and the Whitsundays, the Wet Tropics and across the lower Burdekin. Growers participating in Project Catalyst are true innovators. Proving that action speaks loudest on-farm, they lead the way in adopting practice change for a future that is more sustainable, both economically and environmentally. Project Catalyst farm trials focus on improved water quality to build the health and resilience of the Great Barrier Reef. This includes a focus on soil health and improved farm practice, such as precision planning for chemical and nutrient application. Economic viability of practices is a hallmark of all Project Catalyst trials and the projects also aim to build understanding of farm production efficiency. Each year, the farmers involved come together for an annual forum to network, discuss trial results and learn from other innovators and sustainability leaders. This forum is a valued meeting place for like-minded growers to collaborate and share information. The forum is also a unique opportunity for businesses in the rural sector to reach an audience of switched-on growers who are actively looking to advance their farm management practices. Project Catalyst has been running for five years and we are proud to announce the sixth Project Catalyst Forum will be held in Townsville from 1st - 3rd March, 2015. SPONSORSHIP INVITATION

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to be involved in the Project Catalyst Forum 2015, one of Queensland’s leading agricultural innovation events.

More information and sponsorship options are provided on the following page.

We look forward to hearing from you and welcome your interest.

Kind regards, Scott Crawford

CEO NQ Dry Tropics Host Project Catalyst Grower Forum 2015 Townsville

I’m a third generation grower, my family has been on the same property for over 85 years and my son is coming on to take care of the farm. This land is still taking care of us after all that time and I think it is our responsibility to look after it.

What Project Catalyst does is bring together likeminded, innovative growers. It gives us the support we need to step out and raise the bar and challenge ourselves. We can look up and say ‘ok, there’s the benchmark’ and we find new ways to reach it. It is absolutely remarkable what comes outof it.

Opportunity to sponsor Project Catalyst Grower Forum 2015We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to sponsor the Project Catalyst Grower Forum. The 2015 Grower Forum will be held in Townsville, from the 1st - 3rd March, 2015. Building on the success of the 2014 Forum, we welcome you to join us in what promises to be another exciting three days of sugarcane agri-innovation. Project Catalyst is a unique partnership that brings together sugarcane growers, The Coca-Cola Foundation, WWF and regional NRM groups, with support from the Australian Government. The Catalyst team has won many accolades including the prestigious Banksia Award.

About the Project Catalyst Growers Forum The Grower Forum is an annual event bringing together Project Catalyst sugar growers from the Mackay Whitsunday, Burdekin Dry Tropics and the Wet Tropics to share information on Project Catalyst supported trials they run on their own farms. It is an opportunity to share learnings from other work in the cane, agriculture and water quality space, with the focus always on innovation.

The agenda spans three days with updates and discussion on market transformations, international trends and innovation in agriculture in Australia and globally. Last year, the well-known event attracted 150+ attendees and delegates. It is invitation-only, creating a safe, creative environment where these sugarcane industry grower-leaders can learn and share together.

About Project Catalyst Project Catalyst is now in its sixth year of operation. It started with 19 sugarcane growers within the Mackay Whitsunday region trialling innovative sugar cane farming practices and has expanded to include more than 70 growers covering the surrounding sugar cane growing areas of Queensland’s wet and dry tropics.

Sponsoring the Project Catalyst Grower Forum Sponsors have the opportunity to support a unique event within the three days of the forum. If this option is selected, the sponsor has primary branding rights to the event of their choice, alongside project partners, with the opportunity to select from a range of incentives.
