Mudlo Road, Mudlo – Culvert Repairs

Summary

Council has allocated funding in the 2015/16 financial year to repair two sets of cross road culverts along Mudlo Road, Mudlo, as shown in the plan of work overleaf.

Works proposed

The project will involve lining the existing steel piped road stormwater drainage infrastructure.

The work will include:

minor vegetation clearing and earthworks

inserting a plastic pipe lining inside the existing piped infrastructure, including concrete grouting, headwalls and aprons, and

reinstatement of the roadway

Council endeavours to minimise disturbance of established vegetation on its projects where possible.

Traffic management

Your patience during construction is appreciated. Traffic management measures will be in place to ensure the safety of all road users.

Timing

Construction is expected to commence in early 2016, subject to weather.
