2. Introduction
Over the years, our business has grown and become too large for its network.
ESAB now has 5 facilities in North America
Florence, SC (ESABs HUB)
Hanover, PA
Ashtabula, OH
Traverse City, MI
Monterrey, MX
Each facility has also increased employees, servers, resources and manufacturing technology.
ESABs network has grown exponentially!

3. Current Business Situation
Lack of a solid short-term and long-term IT strategy.
Lack of hardware/software life-cycle replacement process.
Company has grown, but minimal changes have been made.
Businesses users and sites are suffering from:
Poor network performance
Poor video quality
Poor voice quality
Dropped calls
Unstable application performance
ESABs Network is unstable and disconnects.

Constant application time-outs
VoIP quality issues
Email, BlackBerry, Internet
Network Issues minimize productivity.

Increase speed to and from Florence HUB

Phase I - Upgrade WAN
Install smart ring
Increase bandwidth through AT&T
Replace HP routers and switches
Install EVPN
Phase II - Upgrade LAN
Replace fiber optic cables
This is a 3 month project (only for Florence)
The project will have 2 phases.

Total costs: $750,000.00

9. Conclusion
Solid, high performance, and expandable network infrastructure
Allow for growth as the business changes
Increase in network speed for video, voice and web for users at the various facilities.
Free up network resources for other projects, tasks and focus on other network administrative functions.
