Each week, the top 10 listener voted local artist receive airtime on 107X. The Top voted local artist are selected to open for 107X listener appreciation concerts (multiple throughout the year).

107X has given radio back to the people. Now, Listeners not only hear what they want, they also contribute. Project local allows local bands to gain airtime on 107x fm. Listeners can vote and interact with their favorite local artist, earning that artist a special opportunity to open for one of the many 107X concerts and gain weekly airtime on a major market FM radio station.

HOW IT WORKS…… Local bands submit their music, photos and bio to Project Local at www.project107X.com for a chance to earn airtime and a concert gigs. 107X promotes project local through on-air promos, social media, jock interaction and videos. Listeners of 107X will be driven online to vote for their favorite local bands.

Chris Romero (featured left) is the Project Local correspondent. 107X staff will attend local shows on a weekly basis and provide recaps online with interaction through social media, photo and video. Chris Romero will host the weekly show on-air to feature the weekly top 10 local artist.

The 107X Project Local currently has over 150+ participating bands. The Project local page receives thousands of weekly visitors and massive participation from bands and listeners. 107X is consistently out and about on a weekly basis at local shows around Denver. We would love to spread the Westwood College message every where we go.

Interactive Submission and voting platform

Participants can interact with content by voting, commenting and sharing through social media outlets. The bands or artists can easily upload their music and artwork. All submissions and votes receive email bounce-backs. Options are available to include custom questionnaires for participants.

Live on the Scene
