EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
In today's competitive world while entering in the market it is a necessary to have good
knowledge of the potential of a particular market. Also it is necessary to retain the existing
customers apart from attracting new customers.
Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (RCF) is a well known name in Agri-Business. RCF
is symbol of quality and trust in Indian market. It is one of the most admired, fastest growing
company with focus toward diverse business like innovations, fertilizers, international
business arid 'chemicals. RCF has always been the Indian farmer's close friend wills special
emphasis on improving productivity through sustainable fanning. Its range of agro inputs and
services are spread across India's states through an extensive distribution network of
loyal .sad supportive dealers and retailers.
The primary objective was to assess Brand Awareness and Customer Satisfaction about
Sujala (19:19:19) A Foliar Spray, in Amravati district among the farmers.
The scope of the project was confined in Amravati district where many farmers have drip
irrigation in their field and few farmers have rain fed crops. Sujala 19:19:19 was appear to be
useful in these region as it requires less amount of water and still gives good results. It is
hoped that it will help the company to know about the awareness among the farmers about
Sujala 19:19:19 and improve upon the advertisement strategy accordingly. The project will
also help RCF to know about the satisfaction level.
The sampling method used was convenient sampling and data collected was mainly
Primary data through interview, personal contact, and questionnaire. Through analysis has
been done to depict the overall picture of the survey.
This study found that farmers are aware about Sujala 19:19:19 and also have good reputation
in the market. However some flaws have to be overcome to lead the market.
Finally some recommendations have been made to improve the sales and promotional
Activity.
ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Rashtiya chemical Fertilizer Company Limited, Trombay are engaged in the manufacture of
fertilizers, chemical, petro-chemicals and printed circuit board with a mission of contribute in
the national development and we commit ourselves to :
o Ensure continues improvement in environmental performance of our works trough
proactive Environment Manage mental system.
o Comply with all applicable legal and regulatory environmental requirements.
o Enhancing the coal ash utilization for low cost constructional activities and recovery
of valuable products from wastes.
o Conversation of resources particularly fuel , lubricating oils, coal, rock phosphate,
water natural gas, electroplating chemicals and power by fixing and improving
consumption norms.
o Integrate the concept of cleaner production (pollution prevention, abatement and
effective waste disposal) in all managerial decisions for selection of technology,
contractor and suppliers and procurement of equipments.
o Ensure involvement of all employees and all contractors in effective implements of
environment management system through training and awareness.
We shall promote awareness among local community, suppliers
and contractors for creating and maintaining clean environment and make policy
available to public.
