Introduction
As a part of management studies & specially T.Y.B.B.A.
practical training forms an internal part of studies under the
academic purview of T.Y.B.B.A. balls this product project report.
Hence, I have prepared my product project report on
NEWSPAPER.
NEWSPAPER inspire of being a physical and tangible
product, it is a service to the society. The press industry has its own
benefit financial as well as non financial. These intangible benefits
include preferential treatment, strong reputation practical mileage,
strong top level relation etc. These intangible benefit are one such
aspect of the press industry, which makes it very lucrative.
But these benefits are not enough reasons to pursue an entire
project in order to commerce such a business a business person has
to check the financial riability of the project also, certain question
are to be answered are how much capital is regard? Where we will
procure this capital? What will be the cost of production? When will
we Break Even? What would be the profits & the return of invt?
And the use is endless.
A genuine attempt has been made to answer all these question
with the almost justification possible in the following pages.

Justification of Location
Factory location is the decision regarding the geographical
situation of the plant. This decision is a very crucial one because it
is not easily reversible and involves a huge amount of porestment.
The factory location plays an important role in the success or failure
of the business. But this design is affected by many factors which
are kept in Niud while selecting the location.
I have selected the following site for the machine room of my
press.
THE DUST Press,
Milpara Main Road,
Rajkot-360001
The correctness of this decision can be justified all the
following basis.
(1) Industrial Choice: -
Many other presses are situated in this locality and hence it is
common choice of all entrepreneur in this business.
8/2/2019 Project Report on News Paper
13/34

As the Registered Office is located on Jawahar Road, the
Location of the press is hear to the administrative office and the
computer room, which is helpful in faster communication between
the two department.
(3) Market Proximity: -
The location also provides proximity to the market in the
sense that it to easier to release the newspaper into the distribution
channels because of the nearness to the S. T. Bus Stand.

Due to the above research, the transportation cost becomes
cheaper and the distribution easier. This helps in cost reduction and
cost control.

THE DUSK
Significance of the name: -
THE DUSK is the most appropriate title to the newspaper

Market Potential
There as a considerable scope for evening newspaper here in
Rajkot district. Saurashtra are by nature very keen and aurous to
know what has been happening throughout the day in the whole
world around. Their awareness towards the need to be well
acquainted about the convent events makes space for he evening
newspaper in the market. After the noon siesta before resuming
back to their routine work in the office they are now habituated to
reading evening dailies.
With the growing emergence of English language the
revolutionary charger brought about in todays youth. The need and
requirement of English dealer have increased. Especially in the city
of Rajkot which does not have the daily publication of pts own, as
bar as English evening newspapers are concerned. The youth today
really wants to know the real, current, evening affairs preferably in
English language.
According to me, the target customer of my newspaper would
be todays youth industrialist, people of day to day household,
people who are really interested in having some cup of their tea in
the language they prefer to communicate with on day to day bask.
Seeing to all the needs and requirement of target customers, & think

The greatest nightmare for anyone in this industry is a poor
growth of the circulation of the newspaper. If the circulation of the
newspaper. If the competition is too high to let anyone penetrate

Poor availability of Editorial And Advertisement staff in
terms of competency and skills.
Insufficient advertisement revenue is a great risk because fro
all press this is the main source of income.
A constant fear of those politicians and terrorist or criminal
against whom the news is published.
