Accounting Monopoly The purpose of this simulation is to introduce you to recording transactions, summarizing events, and preparing financial reports. In order to generate a unique set of transactions for each of you, we will use the game of Monopoly as a model of a small company. Our class will be divided into groups of three to four players. At the end of each day, record what property you own, cash on hand, and who will start at the next class meeting. Special forms have been provided for you to record this information. This will make the start of each day easier and quicker. Each player shall prepare two reports: an income statement and a balance sheet.
