The Doha Convention Center & Tower is located in a prime location on the Corniche Road adjacent to the Doha City Center with a mixed use development including Hotel, Office, Residential and Retail.

Convention Center – Below Grade, Retail & Ballroom Gross Floor Area: 346,605 m2 Total number of car parking spaces: 5,062 spaces. Overall Tower building height above Ground Level (meters): 551.20 m Total number of tower floors above Ground Level : 112 floors Tower Gross Floor Area : 218,979 m2

Project Introduction:

Qatar Museum Authority approached the master of modernism (I M Pei) about design the Qatar Geometric Trade Mark.

The Museum ultimately built on its own reclaimed island (376,740 ft2) and to be centerpiece of the Doha Corniche.

At the top of atrium in the highest point inside (50 m), an oculus captures and reflect patterned light around stainless steel dome which transforms the architecture into a showcase of light and shadow.

Total building: 35,500 m2 Total gallery space: 4225 m2.
