LANDSCAPE ENHANCEMENTS

Damas Tree RemovalA notification letter was sent to residents advising them that all common area Damas trees will be removed by the end of August. Although they are fast-growing and provide excellent barriers, their roots are invasive and cause great infrastructure damage. So in line with Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations, they are being removed.

Softscape to HardscapeDue to the narrow roads and limited parking in Al Raha Gardens, we changed some of the softscape (landscaping) to hardscape (pavers/asphalt). This should help ease traffic congestion and create extra parking spots in the community.

INSTALLATION OF SUGGESTION BOXES AT SIX MAIN GATES

Six new suggestion boxes have been added beside the community notice boards. Please take the time to give us your ideas. We look forward to your input to improve your community.

AL WARD PLAYGROUND AREA

A study was done regarding facilities for children ages 3-12, and it was clear that an additional facility is necessary for this age group. The developer and the association are in agreement to create a new playground area. The evaluation for a suitable location is underway.

Improvements

INSTALLATION OF NEW LIGHTS INSIDE THE COMMUNITY

After inspection and study, we have started to install approximately 3000 new lights in ARG. The project should be finished by the end of August.The jogging track will have new lights as well, so residents have extended hours to exercise.

GARDEN PLAZA NEW PARKING

As part of improvements to our community, Aldar decided to expand the Garden Plaza parking area to accommodate more customers. The community appreciates Aldar’s support in this endeavor.
