600 MHz Wireless Trade-inCanada Overview

Over the next few years, the FCC’s Incentive Auction in the USA will prohibit customers from operating wireless microphones in the 600 MHz frequency band. The Canadian Government has already launched a similar process and announced it’s interest to align the territory. Your current wireless systems may be affected. If so - Sennheiser will help you trade-in your old 600 MHz gear towards new wireless! 600 MHz gear from any competitive manufacturer will be accepted!

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

Sennheiser’s 600 MHz program runs from May 1st, 2018 through December 31st, 2018.

STEP 1: Check if your current wireless will be affected

Wireless mics and monitoring systems are currently allowed to operate from 470 - 698 MHz. In the next few years, the government of Canada has demonstrated clear interest to align with the FCC and will limit operation to 470 - 608 MHz. While the majority of wireless systems in use today will be unaffected, customers with systems that operate above 608 MHz will unfortunately need to discontinue use and migrate to new frequency ranges.

To check if your current wireless will be affected, look for a printed sticker on your equipment indicating its frequency range. On Sennheiser wireless, this information is printed on both transmitters and receivers and is often visible on the main display. Other manufacturers may indicate elsewhere.

STEP 2: Purchase new wireless from an authorized Sennheiser dealer

Sennheiser offers a wide range of wireless mics and monitoring systems for any budget, which fully comply with current and future rules and regulations. Choose from the following wireless series, in these recommended future-proof frequency ranges.

STEP 3: Trade-in your old 600 MHz wireless gear

Authorized Dealer:1. Verify end-user equipment is valid for the Trade-In Program2. Process the new product sale’s transaction to the end-user and can provide them credit up front3. Contact Sennheiser Sales Representative for mandatory Pre-authorization return number4. Complete the 600 MHz Trade-In form, including Return Number obtained in Step 35. Send old traded-in equipment PREPAID shipping to Sennheiser Canada (see address on form), complete with the Trade-in Form AND a copy of the end-user’s sales receipt. Ensure that the return is clearly marked: ATTN: 600Mhz Trade-In Program6. Once equipment is received by Sennheiser Canada with proper documentation, the credit will be issued within 4 weeks.

600 MHz Wireless Trade-inCredit Form - Canada

Terms and Conditions: This offer is made exclusively by Sennheiser. Credit is offered with the purchase of select new products, listed on this form, and subsequent trade-in of older wireless systems. Offer valid on new purchases made between May 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018 via an authorized Sennheiser Dealer. Credit for traded-in systems will be matched one-to-one against new systems purchased, up to but not greater than the quantity of new systems purchased. Most wireless series included in this offer are sold as sets and have a corresponding credit value per set.
