+History of Conflict Between Israeli Jews and Palestinians A long time ago the Israeli Jews used to live in what is

now called Israel. But then they chose to leave. After they left the Palestinians started to move into

Israel. But the Israelis came back and they wanted their land

back because it was theirs from God. Then the Palestinians got mad because they were

currently living there. They also questioned why the Israelis left if God gave it to them.

That is were the conflict started and it is still going on.

+Statehood

The Israelis don’t want a Palestinian state. The Palestinians feel like Israel was stolen from them.

Step 1: Enforce the Green Line Border. You can not cross the border.

Step 2: Get security to try to control people from crossing into the other state.

Therefore both country’s are happy. Palestinians can have land and Israelis have more land then the Palestinians.

+Fence/Wall

The Israelis built a Wall to keep out the Palestinians. But the wall goes into the Palestinian state.

Step 1: Dismantle the Wall. This will make Israelis mad but Palestinians will be very

happy. Step 2: Build a wall/passage way in-between the Gaza

strip and the West Bank. This will help the Palestinians safely cross between their

states. This will also make the Israelis happy because they get a wall to divide the Palestinians and Israelis.

+Settlements

Palestinians feel that Israelis are taking away their land and what they got.

It is making it a “Swiss cheese” state. Israelis want more settlements but that’s not going to

happen. Step 1: Dismantle all settlements. Step 2: help both Israelis and Palestinians build houses

and find a home in their own state.

+Education

I think we should educate both sides(Palestinians and Israelis) about what the opposite side thinks.

This will help with the conflict in the future. Both sides should understand all points of view and

maybe that could help with the argument. People might not just think of themselves and think about how their decisions could effect everybody.

This will be taught to middle schoolers and highschoolers in their Social Studies curriculum. There will also be extra classes for interested adults.

+Education Steps

Step 1: Once we have followed all the other steps we will build a curriculum to teach children about the Conflict.

Step 2: We will test it on a group of students. Step 3: If the curriculum helps we will start to put in in

schools all around the world but especially Israel schools.

+My Plan

The green represents the green line border that we will enforce with this plan.

The blue line is the wall that the Palestinians will be able to walk through to travel between their states.

The blue star is Jerusalem and it will remain an international city.

The Israeli Jews have 56.47% of the land while Palestinians have 43.53% of the land plus a little strip for the passage
