Spare
Test RTU Signature Protocol on Heat Pumps
• Add heat pumps (HPs) with web-enables T-Stat– Anomalous performance data on 10 HP in BPA project
• Research Questions: How well will protocol work on HP systems?– Sufficiency of daily average temp– Many months with AM heating & PM cooling – Other HP-specific issues?
• Propose to install monitoring on a new site– 3 HPs for initial 24 months– Potential ETO site in Beaverton, OR– 20,000sf veterinary hospital, each HP serves single zone
• Data to be added to Regional RTU Research Results Database
• Analysis: Similar to previous, added report for heat pump-specific issues and findings
