    Project Goal

    What is the general goal to which the project will contribute? Explain how your projectsobjectives fit

    into the objectives of the grant schemes/programme and grant topics indicated? Does project build

    upon strategic goals defined in national and international strategic documents?

    Project Objectives

    What are the specific objectives, which the project would achieve? The objectives should be set in

    accordance with the main goal of the project. How does the project help to solve the particular

    environmental problem?

    CSOs background How is it related to your previous work/organizationsexperience? Please provide information for leadand partner organisations.

    Project indicators

    Indicators: Estimate the outcomes of your projects activity and how you would measure them

    (indicators of success). What means will you use to evaluate how your project succeeded in

    contributing to the overall programme goal? What are the key indicators that help you to measure theprojects success? The indicators can be either qualitative or quantitative and objectively verifiable.

    Sources and means of verification:What are the sources of information for these indicators? Who are

    the independent references (media, authorities, other beneficiaries) that will report on the projectprogress, outcomes and achievements?

    dealing with environmental matters? How do you ensure inclusion of and connectivity with

    the stakeholders? How do you ensure rights-based approach including gender equality,multicultural/ multi-ethnic representation, and women and minority participation?

    Impact

    What is the expected impact and benefit of the project, what improvements and positive changes,

    long term will the project bring? How do you intend to ensure projects sustainability? How will

    information resulting from the project be disseminated to the public?

    Expected Outputs and

    Immediate Results:

    What will be the concrete results or outputs of the proposed activities? What products will be

    produced during your project? How will you conclude that your activities have led to the

    achievement of the set objectives? How the outputs will lead to the outcomes?

    Outcomes

    Which lasting project results are needed in order to obtain the impact? How the specific outcomes

    will lead to the specified impact? By lasting project results is meant the results which will live on

    after the end of the project typically because the project has managed to get the interested parties:

    organisations / the population / the authorities, to adopt project objectives as their own.

    Follow-up

    Can the results of this project be used as a model for others? How? What will be the follow-up to the

    project? What steps will be taken to make sure the products developed from REC grants will be

    used and useful, not just left on the shelf?
