PROPOSED SOUTH EAST BUS CHANGES BY ROUTE

Transport for NSW has developed an integrated transport network in Sydney’s South

East, designed to improve how customers move around the local area and travel

between major hubs such as Sydney CBD, Central station, Randwick, Kingsford, and

Taylor Square. An integrated network plan for Sydney’s South East has now been developed to

provide much needed capacity for customers as well as to support existing and

emerging travel patterns. Following community feedback on this proposed integrated network plan, changes to

Customers can use route 320 along Rothschild Ave and Joynton Ave, and on Bourke St between O’Dea Ave and Potter St.

This route will be upgraded and become a Frequent route with services at least every 10 minutes during the day and at least every 20 minutes early morning and evening, seven days a week.

306 New route This new route partially replaces route 301 and will provide a direct service from Eastlakes and Rosebery to Mascot, Green Square and Redfern stations, connecting with train services.

Services will operate every 10 minutes during peak periods, every 20 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes early morning and evening.

This route will be modified to operate between Eastgardens and Marrickville Metro via Mascot station, no longer operating between Port Botany and Eastgardens.

Customers can use route 309 between Port Botany and Matraville, and route 392 between Matraville and Eastgardens.

At Marrickville Metro, most services will continue as route 352 towards Bondi Junction. Customers can remain onboard, allowing for more direct journeys between Mascot/Botany and Newtown.

This route will be modified to operate between Port Botany and Redfern, no longer operating between Redfern and Central.

Customers can use train services or route 308 between Redfern and Central. During peak periods, customers can also use new route 310 which will maintain a direct service to Central.

This route will be upgraded and become a Frequent route with services at least every 10 minutes during the day and at least every 20 minutes early morning and evening, seven days a week between Matraville and Redfern.

Services to and from Port Botany will operate at least every 20 minutes all day.

310 New route This new route partially replaces route 310X and will provide a direct peak period service between Botany and Central.

Services will operate every 10 minutes during peak periods between Botany Shops and Central, with services to and from Swinbourne St operating every 20 minutes.

This route will be modified to operate via Albion St instead of Carrington Rd, between Frenchmans Rd and Bronte Rd.

Customers along Carrington Rd can walk to Albion St or Bronte Rd for alternative services.

At Marrickville Metro, most services will continue as route 307 towards Eastgardens. Customers can remain onboard, allowing for more direct journeys between Newtown and Mascot/Botany.

Services will operate 24 hours between Little Bay and Bondi Junction, approximately every 60 minutes between 01:00 and 05:00, and will be timed to connect with route 392N at UNSW for travel to and from the Sydney CBD.
