The Propositions Manager is a proactive hands-on role, working across Marketing, Product, Sales and Pre-Sales to produce compelling propositions from start to finish. Working closely with our customer-facing teams and customers you will get to grips with the real value our Sentiment-driven Customer Engagement solutions provide to identify/fill gaps and opportunities in our portfolio to enable increased sales across new and existing customers. Role Objective

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a Product Marketing and/or Propositions Manager role. Experience of developing commercial solutions within the B2B technology space which are scalable and repeatable

Product, propositions, product marketing or customer insight experience within a services industry such as retail, financial services, telecommunications or utilities is valuable. You will be a strong stakeholder manager with an ability to quickly forge strong working relationships with colleagues and business partners of all levels

Knowledge of the contact centre industry

Previous experience working in a software B2B business which puts strong emphasis on our customers’ customer

You have a keen eye for market and customer insight, how to utilise it to commercial advantage in the development of new propositions

A great commercial mindset - thinking in terms of customer need, pricing strategies, value and return

Comfortable presenting to prospective clients and acting as the subject matter expert (it's infrequent this will be needed, but it does happen)

Evidence of leading virtual teams in the delivery of new propositions/products to market

Got to have a reasonable technical knowledge and understanding of the technologies in this space

Data-driven with a commitment to process; drive/track consistent engagement process

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong team player as well as a proactive individual contributor

Partner with the Marketing Team to ensure brand alignment and take advantage of our content marketing skills

Ensure the proposition provides the tools to succeed at all stages of an opportunity (awareness, BD interaction to secure a meeting, sales qualification, pre-sales technical close, commercial offer, delivery, post-sale follow-up)

Own the Go-to-market plan for these propositions. Firstly, to road-test with customers before launching the proposition across our business

Be responsible for identifying opportunities that meet the criteria of no/minimal development and which are not a custom/niche solution, but drive growth through repeatable solutions to many customers

Be responsible for identifying opportunities that align with (and strengthen our message in) our product strategy

Have the business acumen to pick the winning ideas and the strength to close-down less valuable propositions; helps to improve the ideas while ensuring they pass the tests of aligning to our strategic direction, being revenue generating, minimal/no development and not custom but applicable to many customers

Retain a thought-leadership position on Customer Experience and Engagement which informs our company and product strategy, the vision we communicate to customers and our industry
