Prototyping Services Overview Many building types use modular, or prototypical, rooms for the 

basis of the design. Classrooms, hotel rooms, patient rooms, 

living units, and other such spaces de ne the purpose of the 

buildings they inhabit, and require the greatest amount of attention, review, and re nement. Often developers are 

forced to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars constructing brick and mortar mockups for stakeholder 

review. Not only does this cost a lot, but it requires project stakeholders to visit the mockup in person, and 

changing the mockup based on stakeholder input is time consuming. Stoa Virtual can help you avoid the costs 

and delays of building physical mockups by constructing digital ones.  

Process ● Stoa Virtual can model prototypical spaces from CAD 

drawings, Revit drawings, or even hand drawn sketches.  

● Once we have completed the model, we create a gaming 

environment for rendering and experiencing the space in 

real time. This environment not only renders the space 

realistically, it also allows anyone with a PC or GearVR 

headset to visit the space in a simple, free roaming 

format. We can also add other features that allow users to 

change nish materials in a rendering, change time of day, or operate equipment with the space .  1

● We can work directly with the architect and engineers to both track and coordinate design changes in 

the model. We can also schedule our work to coincide with major project milestones.  

● We can model a single iteration of a prototypical space, or as many iterations as you specify.
