PROVOST STUDIO is a creative, boutique design firm with international reach focused on interior architecture and branded environments.We deliver the best practices of an interior design firm, experiential creative agency and scenic design studio. Our expertise synthesizes an understanding of spatial complexities and construction of the built environment with the ability to express and activate world-class brands at multiple scales across various project types and industries.

Peter Provost, Associate AIAFounder & Director of Design
As a creative design leader with over seventeen years of award-winning design and construction experience, Peter has developed a diverse portfolio of work encompassing the disciplines of architecture, interior design and branded environments.
Peter is passionate about helping forward-thinking clients leverage design as a means of communication and innovation. He has the ability to transform client goals and strategic thinking into environments that engage the senses, align with project objectives and embody the values, identity and culture of organizations. With every project, he seeks design solutions that take advantage of practical and pragmatic issues to create places that inspire.
Mr. Provost has significant expertise in cultural/institutional, office/workplace, hospitality/retail and broadcast/media project types. Previous clients include The Smithsonian Institution, MetLife, Home Depot, Westin, Nokia, LG, Wired, The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC and the Chicago Bears Football Club.
Prior to founding Provost Studio, Peter worked for nationally and internationally recognized architecture firms and experiential marketing creative agencies including Skidmore, Owings and Merrill (New York); Kohn Pederson Fox Associated (London); Bohlin, Cywinski, Jackson; Jack Morton Worldwide and Publicis Events Worldwide.
Peter holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.

Tom SchwinnScenic and Event Designer, Project Manager
An experienced scenic production designer with over 35 years of practice in the broadcast television, film, and theater industries, Tom has a demonstrated history of delivering unique productions for world-class roster of clients and events including CNN, VH-1, the National Football League, NASCAR, the John F. Kennedy Center, The Archdiocese of Brooklyn and the PBS specials “In Performance at The White House” for both Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney.
Tom brings both design and project management expertise to Provost Studio. He has successfully completed projects for a wide range of client settings from Broadway and television, regional theatre and film, to corporate industrial meetings and events.
Tom holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatrical Design from the University of Iowa.
Heather StonebrakerInterior Designer, Project Manager
A passionate design professional with experience in interior architecture and programming, project leadership, and client relationships, Heather brings a decade of expertise to managing and advancing projects at Provost Studio.
Specializing in project development and process management, Heather is passionate about delivering beyond client expectations while ensuring efficient project coordination, scheduling, and delivery.
Heather’s past experience includes working with the Smithsonian affiliated Women’s Museum in Dallas TX, The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Architectural History from The University of Texas and a Bachelor of Interior Design from the Art Institute of Dallas.
Stephanie ParrishGraphic Designer, Art Director
With over 18 years of experience in art direction and graphic design, Stephanie has worked with some of the world’s most well known brands including Volvo Trucks, Audi of America, Dell Computers, Quintiles and Royal Caribbean in a diverse set of industries including healthcare and pharma, technology, automotive, leisure and recreation. She has led the development of brand identities for a number of clients and excels in translating those identities and key messages into immersive graphic environments.
In her extensive professional experience, Stephanie has worked for creative agencies including McKinney, T3 and Rockett, Burkhead & Winslow. Additionally, she has developed her own projects as a freelance Art Director.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Paul BensonBrand Experience Designer
Paul is a creative designer that has the ability to express brand experiences across multiple platforms from digital design to environmental design. He brings an innovative design sensibility and strategic approach to Provost Studio as well as an understanding of current trends in technology and interactive environments.
In addition, Paul specializes in consumer and market research, creative development, architectural rendering and graphic production. In his previous professional experience, he has worked with leading brands such as CNN, Pepsi, Jack Daniels, AT&T, ABC, NBC, The New York Times, and MetLife.
He holds a Bachelor Degree in Design and Interior Design from Ohio State University, with international experience studying furniture and lighting design at The Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences.
