Life Reflections Luerine Hawkins S. Wilson, age 87, departed

this life on February 6, 2021, at her residence

from an extended illness. She was born on

September 9, 1933, in Lax, Georgia, to the late

Alonzo Hawkins Sr. & the late Charlie T.

Hawkins.

She attended public schooling. She was a

dedicated and loving mother to many. Luerine

was a devoted daughter, mother,

grandmother, niece, and aunt.

Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her father,

Alonzo Hawkins, Sr.; her mother, Charlie T.

Hawkins; five brothers: James Hawkins, Willie

Lee Hawkins, Joe Hawkins, Alonzo Hawkins

Jr., and Freddie Hawkins; three sons: Charles

Smith, Jerry Hawkins, and Billy Ray Wilson Sr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories:

four sons: Ronald Smith of Douglas, Georgia,

Quincy Smith of Douglas, Georgia, John

Wilson of Waycross, Georgia, and Earnest

Wilson, Jr of Florida; five daughters: Glory

Gaines, Sheila Wilson, Ethel Smith all of

Douglas, Georgia, Emma Bennett and Alicia

Wilson both of Warner Robinson, Georgia; one

sister: Minnie Smith; two sister-in-law: Frances

Hawkins and Mary Hawkins; special nephew:

Frank Smith; loving devoted cousin: Charles

Tarver Sr.; and a host of grandchildren and

great-grandhchildren, nieces, nephews,

cousins, and sorrowing friends.

You will truly be missed. We have had our

good times and our bad times, but we always

manage to work it out through prayer and

understanding; but most of all, remember that

we are family. You have fought a long hard

battle, but now it's time to rest. You will be

missed but never forgotten.
