exchange soaring yesterday and brought scenes of activ- ity ¬ on the floor the like of which had I not been witnessed in many months I So strong was the bullish senti- ment ¬ I that in some instances prices Jumped upwards points at a time on a single sale The readiness with which purchases were made at the advanced figures indicated that many buying orders had been placed practically without some very prominent people Most notable among the gathering was Gov X B Broward When completed the Miami will have cost 45000 The hull has been completed but there is still unfinished labor Before the Lau- derdale and the second Jan 1 1907 at the same place There is yet a fourth to be launched- and this will be launched within about- a month This is to be the Caloosahat cheo named like the Miami after one of the rivers of South Florida Steel plates have been received and prepar- ed ¬ for the fourth dredge which will be the largest of the fleet Completed- it will cost 10000 more than the Miami
