NSI Cilegon plant is undergo

major expansion work.

This expansion includes construc-on of new Acrylic

Acid manufacturing facility or they call it 2 AA plant.

We are awarded piping work from Toyo Engineering,

as the EPC contractor.

Total of 150,000 dia-inch of piping work shall be com-

pleted within 11 months of erec-on.

This work is scheduled to start this February

2012.

Mobiliza-on shall start as early as January

2012, temporary fabrica-on workshop have

been secured near to the erec-on site.

Cilegon, Indonesia, during their five yearly

“Turn Around Maintenance” (TAM).

The work was done by deploying over 800

direct manpower within a very short -me.

This is the first PT. JEL had employed such a

huge direct manpower for a very short -me.

The packages PT. JEL did includes:

is-ng vent stack at PT. Chandra Asri Petro-

chemical Tbk plant in Cilegon, Banten prov-

ince.

The fabrica-on took place outside the plant

at the PT. JEL rented fabrica-on facility, with

scope include procurement of material,

fabrica-on, and erec-on.

Exis-ng stack were removed during the

plant limited shut down -me, founda-on

were modified then new stack was installed.

A total of over

8,000 db on

this piping repair work which in-

cludes joint bol-ng works of pipes

with various material of Carbon

Steel and Stainless Steel on a very

short work dura-on of only 14 days.

Total direct manpower 220 de-

ployed for this works, lead by Andri

Normansyah, which includes

scaffolding works, insula-on works and dedicated task force team, sand-blas-ng work,

pain-ng works, fabrica-on & erec-on of piping and insula-on.

The scope were include removal and replacement of piping work, replacing all gaskets, and

etc. We also deployed heavy equipment of cranes and etc. Rela-vely short -me provides a

different challenge to our team there. Our client tes-fy that no other company previously had

ever completed 100% of the work during their TAM in their maintenance history.
