The link presses have Free Application Assistance         a 4.25" slow down prior to bottom dead centre and then a Back                                               special 0.75" delayed acceleration on the up stroke. This                                                         delay is available for the in-die tapping unit because they                                                         require a slow upstroke portion to reverse the inertia of the                                                        tapping unit.
