omrades! The Camas County Republican Central Committee will be holding a meeting on Thursday, August 23 at 1 p.m. in the Commissioner’s Board Room in the County

Annex. The purpose will be to recommend to the Governor three nominees to fill the vacant board seat in accordance with Article V, Section 2 of the Idaho Republican Party State Rules. The nominees must reside within the county district (District 1) where the vacancy exists. District 1 is generally the east side of the County north of Highway 20; if you want to see a map to be sure, visit the Courthouse or the P&Z office in the Annex! Interested individuals are urged to attend this meeting and meet with the committee to discuss the further details of filling the vacancy. Questions? Ed Reagan, County road boss Mike Gill and legislative candidate Mike McFadyen – at the Commission meeting Monday -- looked over some initial photo mapping printouts being used in route design for a durable restoration of FS 227 between Smoky Bar and the Big Smoky/South Fork confluence. At the meeting, the Board of Commissioners also awarded a

construction bid for restoration of FS 227 downstream along the South Fork at one of the 2015 road washouts between Big Hole and Baumgartner Campground. ❦
