Wrexham Continues to Clamp Down on Environmental CrimeWrexham Council's high tech war on fly tipping has paid off with a successful prosecution following a surveillance operation using mini CCTV cameras at a known dumping hotspot.
Stuart Graham Norgrove of Cefn Mawr (25), pleaded guilty at Wrexham magistrates recently and the judge handed him a £500 fine with £80 costs. Officers traced Mr Norgrove when his vehicle registration was checked using the Authority’s links to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA).
