We are hearing lots of cheers from parents and grandparents who are pleased to be able to hang up their “teacher hats” and resume their normal duties at home or at work. Thank you to everyone for all your hard work. The following information was given to Principals yesterday afternoon:

• All students will resume full time attendance from Monday 25th May.

• Normal procedures for roll marking will apply. If your child is not at school and we don’t have an explanation then their absence will be marked as unjustified and followed up in the usual manner.

• If your child is sick, then please keep them at home. • Working at home lessons will not be available after this

week. If your child has a chronic medical issue you will need to contact us so that we can make special provisions for your child.

• Procedures for drop off and pick up will remain the same. This system has been working very well with a number of parents saying that they are glad to be able to stay at their cars and not need to get a sleeping pre-schooler in and out of the car.

• Adult visitors are only allowed on the grounds if the visit is essential e.g. trades people. At this stage we are unable to allow parents (other than rostered canteen volunteers) onto the school grounds.

• We will be able to resume dance lessons on Tuesday 26th May.

• Band lessons will be on hold for another week. • Bubblers are not to be used so all students will need their

own drink bottles. • Additional cleaning procedures will remain in place. • Semester One reports will look a little different to our usual

format. The reports will not include A to E gradings. Our teachers are developing a format that will (hopefully) work for everyone.

• Everyone needs to be aware that if there is a case of Covid-19 at the school then the school will be closed.
