ADDENDUM #3

SS-18-06, VLR AERATION LINE IMPROVEMENTS In order to clarify the intent of the Specifications and Drawings, the following provisions are provided and shall be considered part of the contract documents.

In order to ensure that all bidders are aware of these provisions, each bidder shall sign this addendum below and attach it to the proposal.

CLARIFICATIONS:

• For the welded pipe, the extensive testing will not be applied. The City will provide a weld inspector to visually inspect the welds.

• The existing 90-degree bend shown on sheet 4 of the plans that is to be turned upward is an MJ fitting.

• The new welded steel pipe should be coated like the existing pipe in the blower building. The relevant specifications for the existing pipe coating are attached to this addendum.
