Do you have a hobby? Would you like to teach your hobby to a 4-H group?
We are looking for 4-H project leaders, for our clubs and the Richland af-
terschool Bear Den. 4-H Day at the Bear Den is Tuesdays from 4-5pm.
The classes can run 4—6 weeks long. We have amazing researched based
curriculum that you can use. Here are a few pictures of the projects that
we offered this las school year.
Community officials are joining with professionals from
Missouri 4-H and University of Missouri Extension
(MU Extension) this week, training to bring the My
PI Missouri (youth disaster preparedness) program to
their counties! Pulaski County was approved as one of
five locations in MO to pilot the program
As a 4-H SPIN club for teens, MyPI Missouri is a flexi-
ble 5-10 week program where teens gain hands-on
skills in preparedness for emergencies and disasters.

Missouri S&T’s SBDC provides business counseling
and assistance to aspiring entrepreneurs and small

are provided at no cost.

Caribbean Chicken Foil Dinner Ingredients:
4 cups cooked brown rice
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup flaked coconut
1 can (15 oz.) pineapple tidbits in pineapple juice, undrained
2 Tablespoons packed brown sugar
3 Tablespoons lime juice
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (4 ounces each)
1 Tablespoon Caribbean jerk seasoning
Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 450° F. or grill to medium-high.
2. Combine rice, red pepper, onions, coconut, pineapple, brown sugar, and lime juice in a bowl.
3. Center 1/4 of the mixture on each of 4 sheets of heavy duty non-stick aluminum foil. Rub each piece of chick-
en with Caribbean jerk seasoning and place on top of rice mixture. Bring up the foil sides. Double fold top and ends to seal packet, leaving room for heat circulation inside.
