-  OPENING SONG -“Oh, The Thinks You Can Think” from Seussical [3:51] – 

Changing “Seuss” with “Sweets” and modifying the lyrics to include

Chocolates and Candies. We can also shorten this. Charlie can be the boy.

-  “Pure Imagination” [1:42] – Wonka as Narrator

-  “Golden Age of Chocolate” [2:40] – Everyone with Wonka. Revealing Wonka

will retire and must choose an heir.

-  “Candy Man Underscore” [0:37] – Charlie with friends waiting for the

Candy Man. Charlie’s the only one who doesn’t have money to buy candy. 

-  “The Candy Man” [2:47] – Charlie and friends. Candy Man can be the same

actor playing Wonka. Can also add people as children chorus. Charlieborrows the newspaper from the Candy Man in the end.

-  Charlie and Dad Scene. The factory Charlie’s dad works at has closed. He is

out of work. Dad reads in the paper that Wonka a Golden Ticket has been

hidden among millions of candy bars and the lucky one gets a tour of the

factory.

-  “Think Positive” [2:07] – Charlie Cheers up dad.

-  Bucket Shack. Charlie’s Family surprised Charlie with a Wonka bar. He

excitedly open it to see if there’s a Golden Ticket. There’s none. Family cheershim up with “Cheer up, Charlie” [1:58]

-  Silver in the Snow Scene. Charlie found a nickel on the snowy street and uses

it to buy a Wonka Bar. He hopes to find a Wonka Bar again. “Think Positive

Reprise” [1:07] He luckily got a Golden Ticket.

-  “I’ve Got a Golden Ticket” [1:34]

-  “At the Gates” [0:58] – They arrive at the Factory and meets Wonka {with

Oompa-Loompas?} followed by… 

-  “One Short Day” from Wicked [3:07]. We can change the lyrics to {One short 

day in the Chocolate Factory}. Can also be shortened.

-  After the tour, Wonka reveals that he will give the Factory to Charlie. He then

reveals Charlie also won an unlimited supply of Belgian Chocolate (Wonka’s

Favorite) and calls on the “Cyrano De Bergerac” mascot to reveal the

chocolate buffet. We can use the throne room reveal music from

Wizard of Oz here. 

-  Wonka can then maybe say something about the product (?).

Something like… “Our secret ingredient to make every Wonka Bar

extraordinarily wonderful is Purato’s Chocolates…”  

-  “Finale” [1:36] Wonka can say something like “With Purato’s you canbake anything imaginable, all you have to do is THINK! ” then followed

by… 

-  “Oh, The Thinks You Can Think Reprise” from Seussical [1:10]

-  BOWS [0:34]

-  Charlie invites everyone to try the Chocolate Buffet.

o  Or [Option 2 Gimmick] Wonka tells everyone to look under their chairif there’s a golden ticket (which, of course, everyone will get) and if 

they have it, they can eat at the buffet.

-  “Green Eggs and Ham” and “Exit Music” from Seussical as Background

music.
